I'm not sure its fair to say not wanting to share is a symptom of straight femshep fans. There's plenty of Manshep fans that don't want to share LIs either. Maybe guys tend to give f/f more of a pass, but there's plenty of m/m female fans too.

I think the problem is just exacerbated by the fact that, out of all the other love interests, straight femshep actually managed to lose options. So naturally, people are going to be a little more protective of Garrus and Samantha.

I feel like ME is sort of the 'last' bioware game to have uneven options. [MY NAIVE HOPE DONT CRUSH IT.] From here on out, I think its important its either everyone is bi, or everyone is fairly represented together. No X has more options than Y.

I don't think this is a good idea. Just how would it come across to straight Femshep players if ManSheps got yet another LI option? I don't think this is a question of being overprotective because Garrus is a straight love interest. It's more of a question that Femshep players in general don't get the sheer amount of options for LI as Manshep does. As it stands, not introducing the content wouldn't upset people. But, if Bioware were to release it without adding or changing current Manshep exclusive LI's orientations as well, and we are going to have a headache inducing situation on our hands.

This again, just dont touch Garrus and Tali, leave them unique for both male and female Shepard

It won't affect your game so why are you being so selfish?

Im not being selfish at all, every character is Unique  by story wise etc... It just dont fit on His behaviuor at all. Also it becomes bit un serious if everyone on 20 man crew is bisexual.

There is plenty to choose, Bioware tried to do something for everyones taste

Honestly all characters should have the option (within reason, like Ashley, doubt shes gonna get any F/F action any time soon...), because why not?

Shepard and co would only be gay if you choose it for them. I really don't understand why people have such an issue with it, i really don't. If don't want it don't do it, its that simple!

I personally don't see him as bi either but i'll be damned if i'm going to try and force my interpretation of a character on someone else when his sexuality is not explicitly stated.

No. Priority should be given to Miranda, Thane, and Jack for more romance content. While a longer romance scene should be given to Tali and Garrus at some point, there is no need to make them Bi-sexual.

That plus VS content for second half of the game. If you remove the option of "inviting the VS back on the Normandy", they have little more content than Miranda.

Not every character needs to be bi. 'though I'm a bit sad Ash is not available for fem!Shep, I'm also glad she's one of few "only-one-gender" romances.

@Darthnick

I may need to add my support for a straight Vega too.

Fem!Sheps have only ONE straight romance in ME3 in worst case, and that's Garrus. Jacob cheats on fem!Shep and Thane dies, so if Kaidan sacrificed himself on Virmire, only Garrus is left.
That's an outrage!

Yeah I support a renegade interrupt for Femshep's who romanced Jacob to kick him in the balls. that is an outrage.

Vega should be another straight romance for Femshep

Here's my trololo idea about a m/m Garrus romance:
You get him in bed at the end.... Find out he's actually a girl turian.

Impossible, BioWare doesn't know how to make femturians.

Then keep him as a bro, let those who want him as a partner have him like that. No ones forcing you to do it just because its in there.

I'm just worried how awkward things are going to be if he hits on me like Kaidan.

Well he didn't hit on femshep, the player had to initiate that, i'd imagine it would be the same with him. Though i admit you're right it would have to be written well.

Don't mean to be a moodspoiler, but I actually think it's nice to have at least *one* exclusive option for a straight FemShep.

Just my opinion. ^^

Not that I necessarily agree with the petition, I just have observed that a lot of "straight femshep" fans are somehow threatened by m/m and do not like to share (as ridiculous as that sounds), and this comment doesn't make it any better.

As a straight femshep player, I have observed this too. I don't have a problem with Garrus or Kaidan, or all the character being Bi. I think all the characters should be bi, what they did in DA2 was brilliant it just needed more unique dialogue on each side. Every player gets a choice in constructing their game's story. However, they are not.

It's like the boys are getting access to all the toys and we only have one, if we are lucky enough to import him into the game. Now the boys want our only toy that we barely even get half the time.

Then there is the added factor that it starts to feel like most of the romances, both straight and gay for femShep, were designed with male Shepard in mind and then the option for female Shepard was tacked on. Even Traynors romance, which is designed to be strictly lesbian, feels like it was designed for the guys because it starts off with sex in the shower. Nothing really romantic. I don't see why Shepard couldn't have hit on Traynor over that friendly game of chess and started the relationship up at a much more casual, slow pace. I don't see Cortez and male Shepard hopping in that shower first thing.

So it's not really a feeling of being threatened by a m/m romance, it's more like being threatened that mom and dad(EA/Bioware) love their son(male fanbase) more than their daughter(female fanbase), and chose to spoil their son rotten with lots of new things and give their daughter hand me downs.

Not into Turians, I'd rather the existing ones to be expanded, actually.

I'm just kinda sad you can't be gay in the previous titles too. Love Garrus. They're radically different species, so what difference does a simple male/female divide make?

Personally I'm opposed to changing the sexuality of established characters. If Garrus was Bi it would have come up long before now.

Imagine if Dragon Age 3 came out and Zevran was all of a sudden straight and only into women? - it just dosen't work, he's an established character.

The sexuality of a character should be established when the character was written, not 3 games in

FemShep only has 1 straight exlusive romance and you want to take that away?
