I may need to add my support for a straight Vega too.
Fem!Sheps have only ONE straight romance in ME3 in worst case, and that's Garrus. Jacob cheats on fem!Shep and Thane dies, so if Kaidan sacrificed himself on Virmire, only Garrus is left.
That's an outrage!
Actually, worst case scenario is that Fem!Shep has no straight romances in ME3. If Kaiden dies in ME1, and you either didn't romance or killed Garrus in ME2, the only romance options for Shep are women.
It does seem a bit like gender equality went backwards in this game. Anyone who remembers BGII knows what a slap in the face to female gamers that was. Men got 3 romance options, women....1. I hope you like him ladies, cause if not, too bad, you'll be forever alone! Finally get to DAII, where every character that was romanceable was available for both male and female gamers. I thought the dialogue had been done very well in that case. Playing as a female Hawke, it was never made too obvious that the romances were "bi", as the only ones who outright flirt without being prompted are Anders and Isabella.
It's great that we've finally moved past the "all gamers are straight" mentality, but for those unlucky women that wanted the straight options in ME3...well....too bad for you. It does indeed make it seem like we're the less favored gender/orientation. With this in mind, it's not that hard to understand why straight females are protective of Garrus as "our" LI. The men get Tali and Ashley for themselves, giving them yet another of the female's choices without giving anything back in return is a bit much.

Personally I'm opposed to changing the sexuality of established characters. If Garrus was Bi it would have come up long before now.
Its not fully established that hes 100% straight either.

Even if they did implement this, how do you think BW is going to do it? I think its going to be hard. Already, if you can recall in ME2, Garrus already feels awkward trying to date a human female. How do you think he is going to date a male?
Whats to say that hes never had feelings for another turian male (considering their culture, its not exactly hard to imagine)? The fact of the matter is theres not enough evidence to prove one way or the other, all it comes down to is what you think, not what you know.

At his first combo aboard the Normandy SR-2 he takes for granted that his scars are attractive for women. If he were bi he would have said "people" "flings" or something that includes both genders. He's 100% straight.EnvyTB075 wrote...

Garrus never had an interest in interspecies relationships, he even says this himself. Thane indicates this too.
And somehow no one gives a damn that they were altered like that.
It's okay that they suddenly think fat filled sacks and hair are attractive, but God forbid they start thinking the male human form is pretty hot.

Firstly this is a petition for people who are interested in Garrus as a m/m love interest NOT a thread for people to wail "Garrus isnt gay"
Good luck with that!

Garrus being a bi love interest won't affect your game in any way, shape or form so please dont start.
Even though I:
1) Don't play male Shepard.
2) Wouldn't romance Garrus if you paid me.
3) Don't do m/m romances
it will affect my game!
I don't know why, but it will I tells ya!

FemShep only has 1 straight exlusive romance and you want to take that away?
How what other people do in their games affects your game ? How what other people can't do in their games improves your experience ?
