I started Legacy in act 2 but now i'm having second thoughts , I intended to play the DLC in act three. If I load the save before i started Legacy I will go back 8 hours playtime. ):
So can I continue Legacy in act 3?

As long as you haven't passed the point of no return (that was the place where you get locked in and have to battle that boss with the bronto and get the key) you can always return to Kirkwall using the statue by the door.
If you have passed that point then no, you will have to backtrack the 8 hours to your previous save.
