Because of this, I am not able to access any downloadable content. I am pretty sure that this is a firewall issue, but the problem is that I don't know what I need to open up. I can't find anywhere what port needs to be open. Is there anyone who has that information or some kind of a solution to this?

Just a quick question. I assume your starting the game via the desktop icon. Select that icon and than select CONFIGURE. On the left side, select REPAIR. Select Add Firewall Exception.



You also may want to CLEAR Your Download Cache.

I do find it a little odd that neither bioware or EA has posted anything on any of their sites what ports need to be open to connect in game. Of course, it seems to be too much to hope for that bioware actually help someone with their tech issues with their games. *sigh* At least they came out with a mostly playable game out of box.

I dont' have any IP filtering software that I'm aware of. Only my router that I need to connect to the net

does it work if you don't go through your router?

I can't, I don't have a modem. Every other game, I had to open a few ports to play Killing floor and age of conan but tht was it. But I have no clue what ports to open for this game.
