What people are forgetting is it wasn't ME3 that saved EA - it was Modern Warfare 3. If that hasn't come out when it did (Christmas), you can bet your bottom dollar they wouldn't be where they are now.
Last I checked Modern Warfare wasn't in EA's portfolio. Or have I missed your point?
