GUYS! Again, I have made a new character, because I have made poor decisions on my talents, and no matter where I seek information, they always seem to change! For example, I made my dual wield warrior, only to find out Dexterity is glitched. Great.

Now, I ask you, what class is not glitched/broken/underpowered, and would give the experience this game was supposed to give.
And, why is Nightmare so easy? I was expecting to use traps and poisons, but it's always the same thing, go behind cover, wait for the enemy and pick them off one by one. Fun... Posted Image
I think I'm gonna play through easy just to get through the story...Posted Image

Anyway, to the Mage, what TALENTS should I pick and WHY?
For example if I want a Shapeshifter what should I pick? Same for all other Spezialications.

If you are using the newest patch, Dex is not glitched any more.

Every class has a few issues, none of them are "perfect".

There is no "right build" when picking talents.  It all depends on how you want to play the character, and what other party members you want to use.  If you're trying to min/max you're going to end up short somewhere, this isn't like WoW.  Take some time and read the descriptions of the specializations and spells and make a plan.

For now, calm down and just make a character and PLAY the game without worrying about how "uber" it is and enjoy the story.

Out of date, it was fixed in the latest patch for the PC version. I am not sure if this problem affects the console versions or not

Pretty much all of them. "Shapeshifter" is commonly regarded as having problems. Apart from that, all good.

Then I would suggest not going behind cover and picking enemies off one by one? Or know that the gameplay gets more tactically challenging with various situations.

You can generally choose the talents you like... but people suggest specialising in certain lines to get the tier 3 and tier 4 talents which can be quite powerful.

I have to agree with B33ker on this one: just relax, pick talents you think would be fun and enjoy.

For melee characters simply choose what kind you'd like to play (sword and shield? dual wield?) and focus on those talents. Same if you want to use bows.

For mages I suggest working backwards. Pick a few tier 3 and 4 spells that you think would be fun and go for it.

If all else fails get the respec mod in the projects section of this site. If you feel like you've made bad choices it will allow you to make changes without having to start a whole new character.
