I've read a few of the threads on here and it seems that weapon weight does NOT affect squadmate power cooldowns...but I've seen some posts hint that Shepard's weapon of choice can affect their cooldown.

Right now my Shepard is using the Black Widow and Garrus has a overload cooldown of 10 seconds! So if I carried the Valient or a light gun into battle, I assume Garrus's cooldown would significantly decrease?

EDIT- I've also read that certain costume appearances can decrease cooldowns by 25%. Which ones have this perk?

If you press the info button (I think it's Y on the Xbox) it will say which bonuses the costumes have. Also, I haven't heard anything about Shepard's weapon weight affecting squad mates. I know Squad mates have a lot longer cooldowns compared to Shepard. In ME2 they were literally twice as long as Shepard's.
