I was searching for a gold game as my Salarian Infiltrator and got put in a FBWGG looby, which i wouldnt normally play but i just wanted a quick game.
I noticed that the team was made up of another Salarian Infiltrator, a Salarian Engineer and a Geth Engineer, so i decided to change to my Krogan Vanguard instead, as all the other bases were covered so i thought i would go for a power class.

The game went perfectly. All the other guys were good players, nobody went down, objectives were easily done, we got full extraction and i came second on the score board.
The only weird thing was that inbetween every round 2 of the other guys kept coming over and meleeing me, but i didnt think anything of it.

When we were back in the lobby i instantly had two kicks, so i turned on my mic (nobody was talking though the game) and said to them "i dont mind leaving and finding a new game, but do you just want to tell me why you want to kick me?", and they said "We thought you were a Salarian. Krogans dont belong in gold, especially Krogan Vanguards. If you want to play a noob class, go back to bronze". Then i got kicked.

I didnt do anything wrong, i was level 18, my N7 is over 300,  i stayed with the group, didnt use biotic charge, I had GPS X, had equipment on, and came second on the score board.

So they must just be racist against Krogans.

Im gonna organise a million Krogan march....................whos with me??!!

Have any of you come across any racism in your games?

Somewhere, there is a Turian commuter nodding in agreement. Also, I haven't unlocked a Krogan yet (lol) but I'm already anticipating the snobbish hate he'll get from people who know everything there is to know about everything.

I have seen this happen. Usually if someone has two votes to get kicked and there is no reason for it, I just leave the lobby. Forget those people.


Weird thing is, I have gotten kicked with what people typically "want" on gold, but whenever I go out of my way to get kicked, like playing on my Brotarian soldier, it never happens. I still score well, and contribute, I just like to see how asinine people can be...

lol.anyone can play FBWGG. It's not really gold difficulty. It's farming

Any class is viable for gold it has been said many times.

Besides if they they are farming Geth on Firebase white they really don't have the right to tell you what you can and cannot do on Gold, just ignore them mate and do what makes you happy.

Yea, i would just avoid firebase white. Just filled with people who wouldn't dare venture away from the map itself or challenge another faction.

used to do this all the time, till they turned the tables on me and the vanguard i refused to kick, sheepishly voted to kick me also lool.

Its FBWGG... not like we need elite players with optimized classes to complete it, just sufficient dps/cc. Would welcome a KV on FBWGG personally, always nice to have someone able to hold the line if we get swarmed.

And recently I played a gold game on my AJ with 3 krogans... Full extraction. Don't see any problem with krogans.
