From my MP experience, whenever I've played with Krogan Something they were always complete retards with Rambo/Marcus Fenix/GOD complex thinking they can melee on Gold everything & end up dead every round. Usually if I see this pattern I don't revive this person second time. You'll bleed out & I'll laugh.

Krogans are rushed/undeveloped species, savages w/out brain. I guess that reflects on players who use them too.

For that reason I think Krogans need a HP/shield buff as well as HP regen buff.
So they become more a more useful (And lore) class.

In sci-fi, and especially in sci-fi RPGs (or really any RPG), "race" is generally an acceptable term to refer to a distinct species, including in-universe as a colloquialism.

hell nah!   that would give a player who is playing a Krogan even more of a reason to charge off like Rambo and do their own thing. then they wanna be all mad cuz no one is reviving them.

a Krogan vanguard armed only with a Phalanx is a message to me that bad times are ahead. On bronze and silver i could care less....on gold...there is no place for it.

if the player understands no one will come for them...then it is fine by me what they do...i just hope they realize that by doing what they are doing...they are messing up the spawn and tracking of the mobs...and if the rest of the group is playing defense...they might get flanked and swarmed.

That was a little offensive...
I play krogans and I don´t have to be revived every round. And I also met alot of players who play krogans very well,even with better scores than infiltrators.
So I guess you met wrong people, but you can´t say all are like that.

I didnt do anything wrong, i was level 18, my N7 is over 300,  i stayed with the group, didnt use biotic charge, I had GPS X, had equipment on, and came second on the score board.

So they must just be racist against Krogans.

Im gonna organise a million Krogan march....................whos with me??!!

That's not true
Most of the time when I decide to farm using FBWGG and I play my salarian infiltrator I end up having the score of my team combined, and I also noticed that I often outscore most people even when I play the salarian engineer even though by little. 

At first I thought I was just landing up to play with not so good players in the lobby.
However some time later I tryed to see what it is when I am not the host...
Well results were a lot more terrible. I often ended up shooting at an already dead target due to lag, and thus barely make it to keep up with the rest of the team in terms of score.

So, if the 2 players were lagging and the one that was outscoring all was the host, it is very probable that the others just didn't have the chance to shoot at anything and could get more to cleanups and taking fire. So this makes it somewhat easy for the krogan to outscore them if he had a better connection to the host.

So no! Score doesn't mean that much!
As a hosting salarian infiltrator I could pretty much own the geth with 2 lvl 1 salarian engineers to spam decoys slowing opponents down and stripping/reducing their shields while I snipe the **** out of them.


And at this point a krogan vanguard doesn't do well with a tech team to supplement it and any tech class would be of much more help to the team and ease their gameplay.


One of my favourite games was when a geth infiltrator with revenant easily outscored me when I was host, with a proxy mine build... I was really impressed to say the least. I even felt guilty that everyone in the team had proxy mines, (2 geths infiltrators and turian sentinel, and me salarian infiltrator) and I was the only one without any level on proxy mines  




So, @OP it's nothing wrong to play your vanguard however, it would be good to play it when you have actually a team that you can support with it, for example if there is atleast 1 biotic in the team with who you can combo or do something interesting. If you are goint to just your shotgun, better use a soldier class or a tech class to supplement your team.

I only play Gold, usually with randoms when my frends aren't online & every single time when I see a Krogan in a lobby I think to myself.. OK I'll give it a chance, maybe he won't be a retard & rush group of Pyros or try to melle a Prime .. my trust is usually proven wrong in first wave ..

If all three are in a group, for example on Ghost in trailer #7 and we're defending this position as our camp/fort and you go on completely other end of map, OK I'll revive you first time in first wave, second time you'll bleed out.

Well i guess this could be true for such sci-fi "lite" stuff like games or TV shows/Movies, but in sci-fi literature, which i have avidliy read  the past 3 decades, this is almost never the case. 

Well in any case i would rather have a krogan  than a SI in my squad.

you guys need to use your brains a bit, not all character are suitable for all factions thus bioware offers 25% bonus xp for unknown so you cant be prepared . engineers are the most effective against the "robots" , most of you using krogans choose it for its high health/shields coz u obviously going down too much on the weaker characters or have no clue how to use power combos .

what you should also get in your skulls is that farming is a big part of mp and since you know fwgg is about find another lobby instead of trying to be a load. also if you play for fun do silver you get half credits and almost the same xp. as for the starter of the thread i got to say one thing , if there wasnt a salarian engineer you wouldnt v reached wave 7 ,u were camping behind the decoy the other player was setting on and shoot second score because you had no other duty other than shooting, you we carried out.

ppl who farm play many hours a day ussually and all they want is under 30 mins easy gold, as a krogan you have nothing to offer so respect other ppl and yourself and either be part of the team or take your leave . dont waste my time.

The amount of fail in this post is incredible.

First of all, you don't know if they were farming. Perhaps OP was kicking ass on the staircase/outside while the rest were camping their wimpy asses off.

Second, playing with power combos makes the game easy mode. It requires little to no skill and a miniscule amount of preparation. Whether tech or biotic.

Third, Krogans are generally harder to play than any other class. They are a big target, have no mobility, can't even skip from cover to cover. They need much more awareness than a biotic or an engineer.

Fourth, saying that some characters shouldn't be played against some factions is BS. Krogans have the easiest time against geth, as they have no instakills, are very prone to getting staggered and have weaker special units than reapers/cerberus. If anything, krogans have a harder time against cerberus, because of guardians.
