I'll do the same thing everyone will do regardless of EA being around or not. Buy the next game that comes out that catches my interest.

This.

Seriously, other people make games, too.

I'd take my loss. Though, thank the heavens, I'm no longer vested in any of these internet/software companies (except Microsoft). As long as the **** doesn't ripple through the market, I'm happy (did go for the financial sector, since they're rated so low by the markets and the roi isn't that bad at all).

Hope everyone affected is alright.

Also hope that Dragon Age, Ultima, Wing Commander, Theme Park, Command & Conquer, The Sims (not on my own behalf that one) and so on don't disappear with it.

Wonder what terrors await us when Activision gains a near monopoly.

The ideal situation would be that Activision, UBISOFT and EA fell apart at the same time. Those 3 have got to be the worst publishers in the business.

I would celebrate, and hope some of their divisions like Bioware would be taken up by companies like CD Projekt. I would feel bad for the thousands of low level employees, and I would hope that they would find new jobs in the future, but as for the fat cats in charge, it's time they experienced unemployment and the real world instead of their cosy lifestyles.

That would be lovely no more rushed games and passionate RPG makers happy again!!

So glad to see so many of you willing to cheer for mass unemployment.

No need to necro this thread, I think. Locking.
