I'm so glad it worked too! And shocked, completely shocked.

I thought the main problem people were having with registering here was that their BSN email didn't match up with their Xbox Live email... but it linked up just fine for me. Was it because I played a couple multiplayer missions that required me to sign into EA's servers, using the same info from my BSN account? Could this theory possibly help others? Or maybe I was just lucky/the powers of gaming smiled upon me that day.

And as Nefla pointed out, we just have to wait and see how we manage with the EC DLC.

Thanks again! It feels like a great accomplishment, much harder than the actual game. xD They really should have made this easier. I don't think anyone totally knows how the system works.

I think managing to register the game should have gotten us all an "insanity" achievement XD

An "insanity" achievement would have been fitting, I think. After all, I did come up with a working plan after three months, go to a public place to set up a Live profile on one of their Xboxes (which I deleted from the hard drive afterwards), continue on with it even after reaching the point that normally would have caused failure, dodging a rather large flying bug while badly attempting to use multiplayer...

And you know, it was pretty fun in its own crazy kind of way.

Achievements and stats don't seem to update until you access the multiplayer screen in-game. I've personally tried this myself. You don't actually have to play matches, just log in and access multiplayer, at which point any stats you have will be updated and reflected on this site.

Then maybe it was the connection to multiplayer that helped. I also had to download a patch before it would let me play.

I don't even know where to look for achievements on BSN. Not that it would matter, since the majority of them are on my forever-offline Xbox anyway. I got a couple for using multiplayer though.

I just hope that EA/Bioware has learned their lesson from unneccesarily complicating the registration process...

German EA customer service finally managed to do what american EA customer service failed to do far more than once - merging my Origin and my BSN account. Now I can finally start whining about post EC ME3. ^^

Welcome to the show!!...glad you finally got it resolved. Things are pretty quiet now though, compared to pre-EC. Some rage is still happening but nothing like it was. I think most folks have accepted the EC and have moved on.

Yeah, I followed some of the reactions to the EC. Gotta say I pretty much moved on myself, and after noticing I couldn't even post on General Discussion anymore I was pretty much done with the BSN. Still tried the merging thing one more time, and here we are. The completionist in me feels good having everything Bioware registered here.
