With that weapon, hunter vision, Geth turret, jumping overload and the fact I use my mic I was able to make everyones day easier. One of my friends said that I always seem to cause a Paradigm Shift with my loadouts

I brought up a very valid point about the class being discussed excelling against shields and barriers and requiring assistance from a good weapon against armor, and this is your argument back? Reported.
Cool spent ur time here. Personnaly I re-do ME2 again atm.

Mantis X- Armor Pierce 5 mod, Damage 5 Mod
Geth SMG X- Ultralight 5, Thermal Cooling 5
I try to slot AP or Disruptor ammo to get the most out of the SMG. My cooldowns sit at at 182% and are further enchanced by the ranks of Hunter Vision. In game, I spam chain Overload a bunch and back it up with sniper fire as needed, which keeps me out of harms reach. I drop turrets in the middle of enemies to distract and flame them, as well. The SMG comes out when I need to fight on the move or a high armor target shows up. The only enemy that is tricky to contain for me are multiple Phantoms in tight areas and massed ravegers in open areas, but I still have ways of fighting them. These weapons are also both relatively easy to obtain, as you can have a Mantis X in one day of spamming Vet packs.
If they ever fix the Ultralight material bug, I will probably opt to use the Hurricane instead. The Mantis is a keeper, however. No other sniper rifle gives such a good damage to weight ratio with similar ammo capacity and its the only rifle that any non soldier or infiltrator should consider using. The lack of built in AP kind of hurts it, but you can pop off overload and polish off most enemies with it in a split second. With hunter mode and my refresh rate, the ammo reload is close enough to my power refresh that I can get into a good rhythm with the weapon.

Falcon with disruptor or incendiary ammo owns on any class with overload or energy drain, it kind of requires you to host the lobby or be on a good connection though. If you're host I'd say it's a toss up between the GPS and the falcon for best engineer weapon, except vs reapers were the falcon kind of fails a bit vs all the armor.
The only problem if you are using a falcon engineer are heavy armored units. Everything else doesn't stand a chance.
The falcon is also great on the Justicar, drell adept, geth infiltrator and even the human vanguard. It's one of the best weapons for a lot of classes on gold as it allows you to easily deal with enemies like phantoms and hunters even if you don't have good powers for killing them, becuase you can stagger/stunlock them in place. That's part of the reason why the GPS is so good too.
Video example of falcon engineer owning on gold:

Amen.
Glacier, White, Dagger, Reactor = Falcon.
Other maps = GPS.
Falcon with disruptor is just absurdly powerful on smaller maps. Lacking those weapons/not knowing how to use them properly/lacking a decent connection, I would go for Mattock/Mantis/Carnifex trinity.
GPR/GPSMG are poor, no matter how you look at them, they completely underperform compared to aforementionned weapons. You can use them to some degree, but being able to use those mean that you would shine a lot more using something else.

English?
Do you want to actually contribute, EVER, or just continue to troll and pester me throughout the forums? There are better ways of conceding your argument that actually leave some of your integrity intact, you know?

U talk about integrity when everyone can see u being trolled on many threads, make me laugh harder!
And yes my english is far from perfect... so what? It's not my natural-born language, I assume it.
For one time, show us some proof of maturity and shut up ur mouth. Oh and yes, report me little boy, if it can makes u a bit less frustrated.

I have a mostly on topic newbie question: How do you know which guns have more armor penetration? Is there a stat or is it just class based (not figuring mods into it), i.e, assault rifles > pistols > ... or whtever the ranking might be? Thanks in advance! No Snakes Alive wrote...
Since their massively-damaging Overloads have shields and barriers disappearing faster than kids in Casey Anthony's custody, you want a gun that eats through Armor and health. A Mattock is awesome for that. So is a Carnifax, Raptor, etc. The Indra might even be nice depending on its weight.

Apart from throwing geth turret and chain overload, i need perfect weapon setup to take down medium and large target without compromising recharging load.
Any suggestion?
I've used the GPS with barrel and heat sink and its really great. My spec is not the most offensive though, as i consider it the ultimate support class with its unique ability to restore shields, and even then, it is a very effective killer.

I initially tried out the build after reading Stardusk's build advice (saber is not prescriptive!). If you do a forum search you will find them - they are a great starting point if you don't have a strong grasp of the class and builds yet.
