Duude, someone will make 100000000 threads saying "nerf the AWSOMECANNON" or whatever it'll be called.
I don't like the Indra's stast and I don't have one. Videos prove your own ability to solo not how good the gun is. If you can beat the challenge on gold with an Eagle, it doesn't make the eagle a good weapon, it makes you a awsome player, or a power-centred class.
People like the widow/BW because of it's high damage, they're easy to pick up and use... I'm not saying most players suck but their mentality is " IF it ain't broke don't dix it" i.e they will use whatever works for them and not try new stuff at all.

My guess, over half the people saying it sucks haven't even tried the weapon. The DPS chart says it sucks, so it sucks. I try every new weapon I get. Don't have an Indra yet.

My only problem with the Indra is that it does the same thing as the Raptor already does, in a slightly different way. Trades damage for accuracy is the main difference, but the Raptor is MUCH easier to acquire.

Neither of them are bad, but I generally feel I could do the same job with a different weapon more efficiently.

Thank you however for showing people that just because a Sniper Rifle isn't made for Infiltrators, it doesn't make it a bad weapon.

Just got Indra from PSP after 2 weeks of no weapons and tried with both Turians - feels good, like what AR should hve been. So support Stardusk, not bad at all!

I agree with the OP. the Indra is seriously underrated. It is the weapon of choice for both my Geth characters. On gold, with the barrel and piercing mods, it tears things up. In fact, I prefer my Indra III to the Black Widow X. One of the best guns in the game. No doubt.

I like the Indra but I only got an Indra I so rather than using it, might as well use the Raptor X or a scoped Pistol. I love the Indra's scope though and the ammo counter.

Love my indra. It kills everything very fast, and with damage + piercing + cryoblast it excels at annihilating lots of mooks/liutenants clustered close to each other.

Shame Incisor doesn't have indra's scope magnification.

This. I like Hurricane too though, just different use for both - CQC and long-shot.

It's definitely more useful since the buff, but let's not exaggerate its merits.  It's not "easily the best" when compared to weapons like the Hurricane.

Also, it totally is a sniper rifle.  It's pinpoint accurate to long range and requires you to be scoped in to do meaningful damage, and is a bit more unwieldy to use as a close combat weapon than other top of the line sniper rifles (Kishok has no blindfire problem, and slow firing sniper rifles work just fine for quickscoping on the go, whereas the Indra wants you to sustain fire).

Never said I was amazing but it is true I like doing nonstandard builds.

And this is why I'm far more inclined to take your word over most of the other "elite players" around here, Stardusk. You'll at least give something a shot (instead of writing it off after a quick glance at a spreadsheet), perform well with it, and then show others how to acheive the same feat. And be humble about it as well!

The Indra is a little underpowered but it is a fantastic weapon. Really fun to use.

I'm inclined to agree.  I appreciate you looking at things from different angles and trying out new builds and making your videos, but calling the results "beastly", "amazing", "easily the best", etc strikes me as a bit of an exaggeration.
