The first time I encountered a Banshee... I didn't see it. But I heard it. I heard its scream, and my blood ran cold. The first thing that came to mind was "oh fu-". Then I saw it and the first thing that came to mind was "thatiswaytoocloseRUN!"

Then Javik and Garrus started shooting at it like any normal monster and the moment of stark terror passed and I blew that can't-be-a-mother right the hell up.


Since then the first thing that comes to mind is usually battle tactics.

Although there was this one time when I got raised in multiplayer only to have a Banshee jump in from outta nowhere and insta-kill me as I was getting up. Then the first thing that came to mind was "Damnit."

The first time I ever encountered a Banshee the room was pitch black and I was not expecting it. It literally scared the **** out of me. And then the two of them in the Monastery at the end - holy crap.

It was one of my favorite moments of ME3.
