Because the game tells you there isn't. Salarian females don't fight, and Krogan females are used for breeding.

Still sure some of the female krogan would also battle with their krogan brothers to fight the reapers as well because if the reapers arent stoped they will destroy the galaxy so in the end it won't matter if we don't beat the reapers

Like Mysterious Stranger said, the male Krogan aren't going to let any female Krogan leave and fight. Curing the Genophage is a major part of the game, and the whole Krogan race is focused on repopulation. They're hardly going to let the future of their race go to war.

Thane... with boobs?  Man-boobs?  Moobs?!  (Or, Droobs?!!)  The mind boggles. 

Do the Drell give birth to live young?  Or lay eggs?  (Being sort of amphibious-y in appearance, I wondered if they would lay eggs - in which case, they may not actually feed their young milk (that's a placental animal trait, not a reptilian or amphibian trait).  And if they don't feed their young on milk, then they wouldn't need... droobs.  Could just use a Thane-ish face with big eyelashes, maybe...

They have females. Thane had a wife. and they had a son together which means she had to be a drell.

See me reasons above. 

1.They  can't fight because they are sheltered, atleast not on a n7 level
2.The males won't let any go because they need them all
3.Most wouldn't want to.

Female krogan would know how to fight, as Tuchunka is a death world.  I could not see a male krogan desiring a female who could not prove her prowess in combat of arms.

Mentioning of female warlord in ME 1.

The events with Wrex and Eve during ME 3 should prove female Krogan can fight.

I think some people underestimate the female krogan. Who was it that silenced an entire group of male krogan (wrex and wreav included) when they were bickering over a salarian accompanying them? Oh thats right a female krogan *note this is not me saying one way or the other that krogan females should be added just pointing out that if the rest are anything like her (forgot her name) theyre not so easily pushed around and a lot more fiery than many are giving them credit for
