Try charging every 6 seconds instead of every 2. Then come back to me and tell me how do you tell the difference between a Human soldier and that kind of human vanguard.

Power efficiency module III. You know, not everyone has one of those. And still I charge faster with a Wraith while not losing that much firepower since Charge->shotgun still kill anything.

Properly canceled claymore does 900+ DPS. It kills every mob one shot, every time + it syncs better with cloack than wraith. If we are talking about infiltrator.
And I don't think that a human soldier with wraith can do better than double firing claymore.

Anyone who plays the game does have one of those. At least anyone who's unlocked Wraith.

Anyway, you do lose much of the firepower. Claymore does almost twice as much damage as Wraith (per shot).

I think I keep expecting the Wraith to be better in some way because it's an ultra-rare. Yeah, right.

Wraith at X is right with the Claymore and weighs less. Cooldown matters on a Vanguard.

You might have one, but you don't usually have one for each match you play unless you only buy JEP because there are more consumables than that. And, as I said, if Charge+Wraith shot are an outright kill, the rest of the damage is USELESS. Until you can kill the same mob twice, the Claymore only brings to the table, talking about a Vanguard, more boss-killing power, and in any case you shouldn't be the one doing it if there are trashmobs alive.

Bar wise the Wraith 3 looks better than the Claymore 10. I am gonna field test it but in your opinoin Is it?

Don't look at the bars.  They are liars.

And how many people have the Wraith X? And you are talking about equipment that comes in large quantities, lol.

Of course cooldown matters, but nearly as much as you suggest. Sure, you can Charge-Nova-Nova all day long and be pretty much invulnerable to damage which is kinda dull imo. You can also Charge-Claymore-Nova-Claymore-Charge - if you're playing human vanguard that is.

Someone who knows what (s)he is doing can go nuts with the Claymore and not just with Vanguards btw. Yesterday I joined a friends game who was soloing the Reapers on gold with his Claymore Drellguard. I got in the match on wave 9, go figure :)

[edit] apologies, the equipment thing was meant for Serkevan, not mrcanada.

GPS fires blanks off-host and all 3 of them weigh too much for a Vanguard. Wraith could use a slight buff, but is fine for a Vanguard, or a Human Soldier if you want some CS spam.

unlike the falcon, you have to actually have a bad connection to the host for the GPS to fire blanks. If the match isn't laggy at all, the GPS does fine even off host.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Wraith won't kill most gold enemies in one shot even if all pellets hit head.

I run wraith III on my SI and batarian soldier all the time. It's a great weapon on both classes. I wouldn't say it's better then a claymore X. The claymore on a GI is so satisfying. The wraith is a good gun on the right class.

Yes, it one shots enemies on gold, if you land a head shot.

Then it might be me, [I only buy PSPs unless I am REALLY low on consumables], because all I seem to get are Adrenaline Boosts and cyclonic modulators (which are useless, basically), apart from the ammos and the rail amps. And no, I don't play a full spam novaguard, because I hate Half-blast. But I like being able to charge before I die if need comes. Oh, and don't misunderstand me,  the Claymore is good, really good. I was only arguing that anything below 120-150% bonus CD is too low, and Claymore (Mine is still at 3, sadly) puts you way lower than that. In any case, I like the feeling of a two-barrel shotgun, and as long as it oneshots mooks (which it does)... well, it works for me.

If it is a situation where you _have_ to headshot with the Wraith rather than point and shoot with the Claymore, I'll take the Claymore. It is an amazing weapon when you use the choke and other mod of choice (typically barrel for me). With the right mods I can (nearly) one-shot Brutes in Gold (SI). Very satisfying.

ME3 weapon stat bars are notoriously meaningless. Claymore is better than the Wraith in every way. If you need the cooldown take an Eviscerator X.

Both weapons have amazing potential in the hands of an experienced player.

Personally, I perfer the Wraith beacause you can keep running without stopping for ammo on Reaper gold. I like being out of cover and in the action, and the Wraith works better for me in that respect.

Don't get me wrong, the claymore is equally as devastating as the Wraith if not more, but it just doesn't fell right when I use it.

Don't look at the bars. They're completely useless.

Forget about using the Wraith until you have it at Lv V or so. At low levels, it compares poorly to the Claymore, GPS, Graal and Eviscerator.
