As in using FaceGen w/ Bethesda games.
I seem to recall importing a photo of myself into FaceGen and then converting it to a .dds file for Oblivion. ???
So my character had my actual face.
Will something like this be possible in DAO?
thnx.
Character creation from actual head shot of myself ?

Since the faces in the character creator aren't based off of "real" faces like FaceGen is, I'd wager no. You could look at a photo of yourself and do your best to manually duplicate it in the character creator, though.

Could have sworn I read somewhere importing a real photo of yourself via 3rd party software would enable character creation from said photo. no biggie.

It would be interesting if that worked.
Trying to dublicate your own appearence is almost impossible I guess. The editor has by far not enough options and possibilities.

The sliders aren't nearly as detailed as Oblivion. But you could probably get in the ballpark. I'm going to take a stab at doing myself here in the next couple of days for giggles.

Well, there is a skin chooser in the character creator. So it ought to be possible to mod the skins that chooser uses with a photo skin, and then adjust the features to fit. Somebody would have to decipher the file formats of course, if that feature isn't included in the modding tools, but I'm sure it's doable.
It MIGHT be possible to modify or add sliders, too
I have a friend who made new sliders for the Sims 3 that you can use from the interface... which I wouldn't have thought was possible. But with a really dedicated hacking community, ANYTHING is possible
