If anyone's a troll, it's you.  You LIVE on these forums bashing anything positive about ME3.  We get it, the ending wasn't great and there were a few flaws in the game mechanics, but for the love of baby jesus, just STFU.

Jesus guy calm down.

Bloody Mary!

Sorry... couldn't resist.

If you ACTUALLY BEEN following the thread about the face import bug.  You would know that they changed the face mesh for Female Shepards thus resulting in "issues".  So technically you can import characters but they will not look exactly as they do in ME1 & ME2.   For my mansheps, I have no issues with them.

Well is not as simple as that. All of my femsheps are imported as a default custom FemShep. The ones that don't look the same are the FemSheps I used since ME1, the others, the ones from ME2 suffer ^

Sorry, not everyone enjoys mediocre games with terrible endings. Especially if said games had the potential to be great, nay, epic.

Mediocre games with terrible endings?  You're in the wrong forum.  This is the right forum for you.

Yes, spending a little time here talking is living here. Hm.
I was going to make a longer reply, but I don't feel like humouring you today. So I'll just say one thing.

Make me.

Sorry for calling you out, i mean i even agree with some of your posts, but your just a negative nancy sometimes.  The game isn't that bad.

I like the game, but it's heavily flawed. I am more forgiving of flaws if the overall story is good, but it isn't so I'm not.
Overall the final installment of the trilogy deserved better.

Regardless if you disagree, there's no need to rage. I do not call people who defend even the ending trolls for instance. Only due to behaviour. For example, bashing DA:O out of the blue for no reason? That's just trying to get a rise out of people.

I wonder how DA3 is going to do, that's the true test.

That's nice for them. I have no faith in their execution of the Extended Cut so I traded in my ME3 CE via Amazon. Because I already used some standing Amazon credit I had in my account when I pre-ordered the CE, it means I've only lost about $30 in this whole process. I'd say $30 was a fair value for the game for a couple playthroughs. No harm, no foul. Enjoy your millions, BW, while I put my measley $28 in credit I've recovered into GTA V or something.

Which means bsn is not indicative of how people really feel about the game

Sales =/= satisfaction... The kind of logic you use suggests that you have a job waiting for you at fox news.

DA3-red.  Destroy the fade and magic everywhere
DA3-blue.  Become the new maker and become master of the fade
DA3-Green.  Merge the fade and the real world
DA3-Yellow ?????

Yellow = Become Harbinger

That's right Dragon Age 3 is Mass Effect 0.

Quite a bit was the hype.  Most of the fans I know bought it before the feedback came out.  I think we've all wized up, and won't make that mistake again.  If they ever top this, it'll have to be due to a game that actually DOES deliver from beginning to end, becuase most people will be watching from afar, not buying outright.

good point. i think EA can basicaly close up all the preordering, i doubt anyone will buy something from EA without  demo + 10 reviews + pirated 1st walkthrough. ME3 mistake cannot be repeated folks.

It's all about perspective as well as return on investment.

'AAA' games on next gen systems cost average about $30 Million US.
ME3 in 2 months has apprx. 170 Million in profit.
ME2 in 1 week made 100 Million in profit.
-in contrast-
MW3 in 2 months made apprx. 1.5 Billion in profit.

It's not a difficult concept to see why businesses would lean toward that market. Especially given these numbers ME3 didn't excel as much as it could have.

Even though its misleading.

This fails to equate the $10 dollar difference in games between 2009 and 2012.  After all is said and done, including DLC and ME packs,  ME3 is underperforming ME2 per unit by a significant amount.

A  troll is someone who purposely provokes people, so the Angry One is correct this person is a troll, and imo an idiot. The only way he could have been more obviously a troll is to use ME1 instead of DA:O.

VG Chartz is not reliable, so I would take their numbers with a grain of salt...a huge grain of salt.

Skyrim sold almost 12 million copies, so there is hope that a company will see a western RPG as worth developing outside of Bethesda. I only hope that they don't try to copy it, which I have little doubt DA3 will be doing like ME copied Gears. I can see it now Bioware saying it is like Skyrim except the main character talks!

It fails to account for the extra ten dollars because it is measuring the units sold not the ammount of money it made. I'd like to know where you're getting the idea that me3 is underperforming from. According to the ndp, Me3 has been doing much better than me2.

I'd post a reply to this, if I wasn't spending so much time playing multiplayer and buying packs with BioWare points.

What do you think you're proving by announcing you're wasting money on something so substanceless, other than the fact that you're irresponsible with your finances?

This is something hipster-gamers need to get through their thick skulls. There are much worse things you could waste your money on. If someone wants to fund developers and unlock cool things in a videogame, which they enjoy and will gain more enjoyment from, shut up and mind your business.

people that spend BW points are the same ones  who go to the forums and cry about how they got a mantis or a shot gun and demand they get better guns. They then go to these forums and **** at people who demand a better quiality game.

irony no?

Just to amuse ourselves, lets go to the people who know what's hidden behind sale figures and such; The investors.

In corporate news, Video games publisher Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) stock slipped 5.2% in after-hours trading Monday, as the video-game maker lowered its outlook for the first quarter of its fiscal year, which ends in June.

Source(today): http://www.proactive...ocus-28772.html

Have retake ME3 influenced that at all? I honestly don't know.

What I do know is that you have to fight for what you believe is right and not let the opposition stop you unless they can mount a credible counter argument. The original poster needs to stick to his guns and see what the future brings, it is my honest opinion that we can influence the future of game design - and make sure Blue/Green/Red never happens again.
