Something must seriously be affecting your memory. How many posts have I addressed to you specifically trying to appeal to your sensibilities? Specifically trying to get you to see the merits of civil discourse as opposed to your standard fare antagonistic threads/posts that get you absolutely nowhere. That always seem to get your views dismissed as the nonsensical ramblings of a nincompoop.

I can make multiple threads lambasting a particular movement and playing at a nonexistant trump card too. But you know what? People see through that bull****. So who's views are you challenging? Who's views are you representing?

Question: When someone's motives are clearly suspect, questionable, and favoring a specific agenda, shouldn't you judge them? Especially when they build themselves up on the false pretense of advocation?

You can't enter a room randomly swinging those fists just to play the victim afterwards though. Doesn't work. Believe me, I tried once and got my ass beat. Wasn't a good experience.

Fact is, if you can't handle two inferred insults in two distinct posts, then why do you persist in dishing out the same to others? See what I'm getting at?

2,000,000 X $55 = $110 million
($50 being the average price of the game world wide)

now $200 million i dont beleve because ALL of those micro transactions for real cash all add's up, i think its closer to $330 million

I'm assuming the trump card that your referring to is the Christianity argument that somehow perfectly illustrates her arguments, although it has yet to be made clear what that is. Please pm me the details of what you are saying minty. I am just trying to do what you are advocating. Gather information from multiple viewpoints in order to form an educated opinion for myself.

Was referring to the move she plays that always ends in a  "checkmate" for her no matter what the situation is.

Lets just agree that the game is unbelievably good (IMO 4th best I've ever played). Then let's also agree that the the ending (last five minutes of game) doesn't live up to the standards set by the rest of the game and series.

Cant we all just get along.

If 200 million in $$$ for a AAA game is setting the bar for other devs, then their goals are pretty low to being with.

What greatness? The auto-dialogue? Conversations that you don't participate in? Ton of fetch quests? Linear gameplay? Small environments? Cheap and redundant character reunions? Animation glitches? Dialogue/Audio cutting off? Tali face photoshop? Forced story aspects? Character disconnection and contradiction? An ending that is a rip-off of Deus Ex?

Tuchanka and Rannoch were nice, and aside from that, the combat was decent.

The combat was the focus and there are still games with way better combat.

Yeah, greatness alright.

A bloody disappointment.

We stick around because even with the glaring flaws, Mass Effect is something we love. We care about it and we know that we can easily fix this and turn this whole thing around.

The "majority" is a subjective and imprecise term bro. We all spoke with our wallets at one point. Plus the article and EA are touting non-GAAP figures, which means nothing signifcant or conclusive can really be pulled from those numbers.

Not saying it didn't sell well, just saying that with non-GAAP figures can be spun anyway a company wants.

Someone is an ass and took my initial reply far, far too seriously.

I don't care if you like it or not, but don't claim that it's great and it's a fact no matter what. That is an opinion, not a fact.

I don't think any of that is really minor or "non-issues", either. Most of my beef with the game is that nearly everything from the previous games has been thrown away and disregarded. The game being dumbed down, forced and really small is a minor issue?

Maybe if you never played Mass Effect 1 and 2. And enjoyed them.

My point is, it sounds like we hate the game with a fiery passion but we do so because we love Mass Effect and want it to be something better.
