This would mean that you're defintely the type who bought the hype.  It's cool to like thde game.  t's even cool to like the ending.  But, down this path lies total self deception. Down this path lies total denial.  In other words, those who spend tons of money and points in multiplayer have the most to lose by seeming foolish. PS: did you see all the icons under my name?  It's not like I am exactly a casual fan....

Glad to see this game doing well despite all the whining on the bsn. There are those of us that do love it.

Sorry, not everyone enjoys mediocre games with terrible endings. Especially if said games had the potential to be great, nay, epic.

Quite a bit was the hype.  Most of the fans I know bought it before the feedback came out.  I think we've all wized up, and won't make that mistake again.  If they ever top this, it'll have to be due to a game that actually DOES deliver from beginning to end, becuase most people will be watching from afar, not buying outright.

I'd post a reply to this, if I wasn't spending so much time playing multiplayer and buying packs with BioWare points.

That just makes you come off as terribly stupid.

Mediocre games with terrible endings?  You're in the wrong forum.  This is the right forum for you.

Troll confirmed, get outta here.

Wow so anyone that disagrees with you and likes the game is a troll now?  Talk about being a stuckup little snob.

Of course, the next question is: how well will their next game do?

Purposefully linking to a game with a widely acknowledged good ending and bashing it for no reason?
That's trolling and you know it, if you'd let go of your bias for one minute maybe you'd see that.

It does you no favour to defend people who are being obvious trolls because they are "on your side".

I enjoyed ME3 equal to ME2.  I like that it made a ton of money.  I've been smiling since I read that story.  It's good news!  I enjoy the MP too, it's fun.  IMO, this is a celebration thread for the long slow march of games away from the past and into the present.  :happy::happy:

that means nothing. ME2 sold over 2mil. that's about the same number that ME3 got. expected that they would have more people buying, seeing as everyone who had 2 likely got 3, and publicity probably interested new players. it would be more significant to say the discontent is pointless if it'd sold 5, 6mil copies beyond the regular fanbase.

plus, there's no way to know the ending sucks and be dissatisfied unless you buy it and play it.

There is no doubt that ME3 made lots of money. Fan rage did very little to hurt the sales, because the majority of the same fans preordered the thing and paid premium.
The issue is next game, specifically DA3. If ending will not be fixed ,i foresee less illustrious performance with considerably less pre-orders. Then ,if it is a good game (which would be great) it will climb up.

But as it stands now it's a 6/10, perhaps 7/10, and that is without counting the ending. It did some things right, but a lot of things very wrong.

Guess what, your word isn't fact.

It's cool to buy DLC, lord knows I am such a mark for that stuff, but in all honesty, I am not sure how much difference what they are going to offer on this issue will matter. Simple, small appeasements seems the wrong way to go on this one, and I don't feel like wasting any more money on disappointments. XBOX does have discount weeks from time to time, anyway, if my curiosity gets the best of me.

What do you think you're proving by announcing you're wasting money on something so substanceless, other than the fact that you're irresponsible with your finances?

$200 Milllllllllllion dollars.... and counting.  ^_^^_^^_^  More games like ME3, ploz.

You'd be a better troll if you weren't so obvious....either that or you're 12, one or the other.

Funny, I knew where that link directed before even clicking it. So predictable. And who cares how much it sells? Only time will tell if BW is heading in the right direction or not. For now I'll just wait and see if the EC provides me a better closure and then move on to something better.

All the talk of trolling is actually distracting from the conversation. If the kid irritates you, ignoring it is probably the best policy if you care about the game.

Dat price lowering.

All my friends who said they were never going to get the game picked it up after the price lowered to half. "What a steal", they said, "Why would you not do it", they said. Multiply that by I'd say thousands and thousands of bargain hunters at about 25$ a pop, and what do you know, they made just as much as they would anyway.

We don't know the margin of profit or what the EA overlords projected on paper so this may or may not be a good showing.

Who cares how much it sells?  The people who get paid to make it.  And the real fans, who know that a game that sells well will have a sequel.  Can they continue the ramp up in excellents a la ME1 ------> ME2 --> ME3?  I don't know, but I can't wait to find out.  :happy::happy:

Well this troll is no longer entertaining, let us try to ignore it.
A decent troll will at least amuse.
