For the fan feedback for ME3, you need to look at Bioware's next game/ next ME3 paid DLC.

Let my clarify since we all love clarification

If you say "I like the ending of Mass Effect 3", that's a perfectly valid opinion that no one in his right mind would criticize.

If you say: "The ending of Mass Effect 3 was well-written and coherent", then your opinion would be wrong, as this is demonstrably false. And it's perfectly fine to criticise people who make such statements.

200$ is not that much. Concerning the expectations they had (incredible marketing campaign) one can guess they expected different numbers.

Duh. We're talking about a game that was marketed to hell and back. The controversy only fueled the fires and make the game talk about itself. This doesn,t accont for returned copies, or people who didn't pre-order, ect. ect. By itself, 200M$ is just a number executives use to pat themselves in the back and justify their massive bonuses. You would have to dig up other numbers, and compare them with Bioware's previous works (especially ME2 and Origins, their two other best-selling games) to know if it's that much of a hit. The exact impact of Retake and the assorted ****storm is pretty much impossible to calculate.

We can say that this isin't a DA2-style debacle, which is good if you ask me. One more disaster such as this would have probably ended in EA looking over Bioware's shoulder even more. An aextremely badly done ending doesn't justify trashing the game or the series anyhow.

Call me crazy, but maybe, just maybe, the guy was expecting something different from the game then you and he happened to have got it.

But what am I saying, right? Anyone who actually enjoys the 25 hours before the ending and doesn't like 5 minutes get in the way of that must not be rational AT ALL. Anyone who didn't spend every waking hour for the past 2 months complaining about the ending on the forums must be some mediocre-loving plebian, right?
