Please let Marksman be a sustained skill from now on. And PLEASE give Turians the ability to roll.

AoE heavy melee's are nothing new, the Asari have one as well.  Also the geth heavy melee is the weakest heavy melee in the game [cant one shot a husk unlike everyone else] and eats up sheild strength.  The Melty thing only comes in when the geth heavy melee kills the enemy, and even then it doesnt happen every time from what I have personaly experianced.

I don't know, I played one match (silver/cerberus/glacier) and this Geth would run into a small room filled with enemies and kill all of them instantly. It was the only time I've seen the move work so efficiently but it was overpowered for sure.

Just think it could use a range nerf or something. I'm just saying this was the only time I saw anything I thought could use a nerf but if it doesn't, I won't care. I tend to frown on nerfing things but this caught my eye.


There are some rather heavy hitting melee builds for geth out there, just as there are for many other class's, throw enough bonuses onto anything and it will rock.

Armor mods that give melee bonuses
Weapon mods that give melee bonuses
Passive upgrades that give melee bonuses
TC effects melee damage as well
Hunter mode effects melee as well

I'm aware of that, I have my Krogan completely set up for melee. The problem I see, if a melee has such range and AoE it shouldn't be possible to make it that powerful. Balance.

I'm just saying that's the only thing I've seen in the game that could use some balancing. Whther it happens or not, I couldn't care less.

On a melee related note, it seems they messed with Krogan melee. On rounds 1-8 I can one shot heavy melee Nemesis and on 9-11 it takes two heavy melees.

some people dont quite fully understand the geth heavy melee. on glacier and other small tight maps, it destroys the enemy, but on other maps, like condor, hydra, giant, and dagger, the openness of the map causes anyone trying to heavy melee like that to get mowed down rather quickly, remember, you get a powerful melee, but it uses up your shields, a couple of stray shots from a mook, and down you go

Balance Change Preview:

Shockwave: Base radius increased to 3m. Base camera shake radius increased to 30m.

Marksman: Base rate of fire bonus increased to 50%. Characters will flip weapon upside down when Marksman is activated to prevent muzzle dip when Stability Dampers are equipped.

Adrenaline Rush: Base weapon damage bonus increased to 100%. Hardening evolution Damage Reduction bonus increased to 90%.  Adrenaline Rush visual effect increased by 75%.

Lift Grenades: Base lift height increased to 50m.

Geth melee doesn't need a nerf. Unless you're really skilled, and extremely careful, Geth melee gets you killed more often than not. Besides, the Geth light melee is useless. It never hits the enemy, and it's weak as hell.

I use it when im desperate, ie a phantom has run up to me after I have fired a shot from my widow and I need to stagger her RIGHTTHEF**KNOWBEFORESHESTABSME!

Or both. I like using human adepts, but I don't like having to be dangerously close to singularity-immune enemies to trigger warp and having to inconvenience my teammates at the same time.

Yep, this a concerrn for me as well.  Hunter Mode on Geth is a similar situation.  Right now people make the argument that bad guns are good because they do fairly well on Turians and Geth, and that is not good for overall weapion balance.

In addition to the listed buffs, I'm also hoping for Revenant, Incisor, Viper, Locust, Avenger, and Singularity buffs.

Not that I expect to see any of these.

personally id prefer a shorter cooldown for adrenaline rush because the shield boost is great but im expecting a damage boost so it can actually compete with infiltrators

I do appreciate buffs wherever we can get them, (they really make us get back into the game to try them out again) but some bug fixes would be nice.

Here's a novel idea: how about some buffs for the Crusader and Eagle? I don't like working to earn N7 guns only to receive glorified paper weights.

I know. I love me some Human Adepts. Mostly for their heavy melee sending enemies flying, but it isn't worth how unbelievably close you have to be in order to detonate Warp. The real kicker is that the range evolution is the same level as the increase biotic detonation evolution. So you can either have substandard biotic explosions at a longer range, but still not as good of a range as Warp/Throw, or have the same damage as Warp/Throw but with ******-poor range.

I am still wondering about the earlier changes to Singularity
The 'increased' hold duration from 4 to 3. (Which was supposed to be 6)

I am excited about the Shockwave buff though. Now it might be a reason to use it, other than to troll that sniper into the game and help ressurrecting/hacking/capping objectives.

A buff to cryo and fire explosions is long overdue.  They just don't do enough damage considering how hard they are to pull off and how rare they are in general.  

As far as Cryo Blast goes, a significant buff to both the slow effect and debuff options would definitely be nice.  It really should do some damage in my opinion, but I think that's a change that isn't likely to happen (and would probably require an actual patch if it did).

I hope this delay is because they intend to release a very large number of changes. Bioware do seem to listen to us when it comes to balance changes - though, it could just be that they're coming to the same conclusions as we are - and lately there have been a few complaints about the small number of changes compared to the large number of under-performing weapons & powers. Perhaps testing and making a lot more changes than usual is what caused the delay.
