Please reacquaint yourselves with the Bioware Social Network Rules of Conduct.
All works must be in good taste. Yes, Mass Effect is a mature rated series, but we try to respect all who visit this website. We do not allow images, video, language, etc that is of an adult nature. We do not allow nudity, swearing, etc on these forums. If you see someone has posted an image or a link ro a creation that you find objectionable, please contact me or a moderator and we will handle it. Images or links to such material may be deleted without notice.
You are welcome to post your material or links to your material in this forum (please see the rules below). Please DO NOT post material that does not belong to you without permission from the original creator to do so. Sharing a link to something you found on YouTube is fine, but posting art or writing is up to the creator of the piece. We will fully respect the creators wishes and copyrights here and material may be removed without notice.
People are going to have differing opinions, both good and bad about a character or the creations here. Respect the opinions of the other posters. Argue the topic, not each other. If you feel the person is only being contradictory to get a rise out of others, this defines trolling and you can send a PM to me or a moderator to let them know. But remember, sometimes a person simply has a differing point of view and this is perfectly acceptable.
We DO NOT allow the forums to be used as a blog for your fan fiction. Each person's profile, under the "My Content" tab, has a section for blogging. You are welcome to create your fan fic under your profile and invite people to read it with links to your blog, but please do not post your full works on the forum. Materials on blogs must conform to the standard site rules and fan fic/blogs of an adult, violent, sexual or ilegal nature may be deleted without notice and the creator prevented from blogging in the future.
Trolling is not tolerated, but neither is responding to trolling. If you feel that a thread is being trolled, do not respond to the troller. Do not post in the thread in response to any trolling attempt. Let me or a moderator know about the situation and be patient: moderators address the issues as they have time.
Try to focus your discussion on the character or work that is the main subject of the thread. It is inevitable that discussion will stray from time to time, but if you find yourself discussing at length about these new topics, consider taking the topics to the appropriate threads/forums. If a different character or other work is getting considerable discussion in the thread, that character can likely support their own thread for discussion.
Do not discuss aspects of the forum on the forums. Specific problems with using the forums belongs in the Social.bioware.com Site Help Forum. Your opinions on how a thread is doing, where a thread is going, what another thread is like, the decisions of the forum moderators are all off-topic and should be taken elsewhere.
If you have questions or concenrs about this forum or people or materials on this forum, please send me or a moderator a PM (Private Message). We welcome your concerns or your criticisms.
