Well, I have said repeatedly that there is Single Player story content still to come. We are making the Extended Cut material first, but there will definitely be more SP and MP content coming.

And this is why I hate the Extended Cut dlc... :crying:

You hate free DLC that attempts to salvage the current trainwreck ending?

I see.

That hasn't even come out to boot :D

Single Player? Its an afterthought in the mind of many modern games.

Oh how I yearn for epic expansion packs instead of piddly pathetic DLC content.

Bioware makes them for its Dragon Age line.   They did release an expansion pack as well as DLC for DAO.    They planned the same for DA2, but cancelled the expansion due to circumstances with that game.

One expansion in about 5 years for 5 games would not be what I would call making them.  The Expansion pack has gone the way of the dodo.

Really? People may not like what they get, but when Bio says a product's coming something always shows up. What are you talking about?

Yeah...
Let's put on my mouth stuff that I haven't said.
I hate it because we won't have any real dlc for SP until the second half of the year. And that is something that annoys me... a lot.

Bioware just don't care about single player model anymore. They are willing to release Day 1 DLC to make customers to cough more money at 1st day of release of ME3, and DLC for multiplayer model. And, Bioware slap face of the fans by announcing the statement about ME3 is the best game made by Bioware ever even through a lot of fans tell Bioware that ME3 is incomplete and non-logical game. Chris Priestly is just a employee of Bioware who is only allow to say the things that Bioware allow him to say. Wake up, OP.

You do realize it's only May right? A multiplayer DLC is more easier to make than a whole new story for single player.

Either way, my point is, IT. HAS. ONLY. BEEN. TWO. MONTHS. CALM DOWN!

Don't you ever think that the content of EC DLC is something Bioware should have done during the produce of the game?

Probably, but they didn't. They are now working on it and all the whining in the world won't speed it up, so deal with it.

I'd rather download an extension to the ending than a DLC that has nothing to do with story at all. Normal DLC is usually fun and worth buying but actually means very little. I am very hopeful that the EC will make me feel like replaying ME3 again when the endings are improved. Its not that often you get a FREE DLC that is critical to the main story :)

I do seem to recall something about stuff for DA2 that got cancelled too.

Ofc, seeing as I never purchased DA2, due to it not looking like the kind of game I would be interested in, I couldn't say it affected me much. But it doesn't change that they "had plans" for more stuff for the game.

Honestly, i am the first that would wait the EC before buying something else for ME3. If they manage to fix the ending i might consider buying more stuff for the game, otherwise i just move one to other companies titles.

And honestly, it was good for them to cancel any big project regarding DA2, the game is so horrible i couldn't even finish it, let's imagine buying new content...

Basically our money is the only feedback they care since they stopped to put love in their products and they became pure money machine, so let's think twice before buying new material or even ask for it.

More DLCs? Just commit suicide already. With all the money they cashed in by trolling us and making us believe our choices would have any impact... DLCs shoudl be free.

Single player DLC is probably the one issue where Bioware's silence is the correct stance. Honestly, if they announced a Retake Omega DLC (for example) today, would the reaction be positive? No, it would just create a weeks worth of "omg I'm not buying DLC until ending is fixed" threads. Which is also a fair stance for the fans to take.

So the correct plan for Bioware to have is
1) focus all efforts on the ending DLC, take as much time as necessary to get the highest quality possible
2) release ending DLC
3) start work on other singleplayer DLC

Ah yes, singleplayer DLC. They've said they won't change the ending, so I'm curious, what's the point of releasing SP DLC anyways? More speculations and choices that don't matter and ultimately lead to the same crappy ending we already have? Sorry but at this point I really don't get the idea behind any SP DLC besides the obvious cash grab attempt.

Umm, what? We have singleplayer DLC. "From Ashes" is a real thing. It happened. We got Single player DLC before any multiplayer DLC and it added great depth and insight to the ME universe lore.

Your point is moot.

The single player is the only real ME for me. I like the multi player, but there are better shooters out there. They better not forget things like Omega, etc...down the road. Seriously the single player people have been with you for over 5 years. Don;t forget that please.

Some here are suggesting that the credibility or restoring it to the true depth and focus of sp is all bout the ending frankly is the me series NOT about process and the journey as much if not more so than the ending? there are so many other fans out there other than those ok say 50/50 split each way who worry more bout proper sp dlc content and not concerend bout the ending as much as the other half of fans are...i a bit of both in truth but i was just really disappointed by the core game time prior to any extra sp dlc of a poultry 37 hrs let talk bout that that the really big issue i mean me1 is double that in length, me2 is bout 50 hrs or 10 hrs less than me1 but that ok

and if anything the build up to ending could have been much more rewarding at very least- if they weren't to fix the ending if they beefed up the journey a bit more dare i say it, then maybe just maybe pple would be a tiny bit more forgiving of the ending?

no i disagree why should future sp dlc depend on ending? if pple truly like the me series enough then does it really matter if the sp dlc came out before the ending instead?

the other half of pple who had greater concerns than ending in the forum, clearly are more concerned bout the more simplified aspects of plot and lack of side missions and very slim totlal gameplay time...don't you think? who agrees who does not?

Bottom line if you really love the me series and want much more gameplay time than the core me3 sp experience atm...you get sp dlc regardless of ending won;t you?!

We did that December 10-21 2010 and was called the 12 Days of December event.  I'm sorry you're still waiting, but you must have missed it.

We do not give dates until we can say when things will arrive, to try to prevent giving the wrong times/dates, but they do always arrive eventually.

I do but only really because I lack a decent enough internet connection to download gbs/mbs of free content due to the forsaken area I live in.

Right now the MP DLC and Operations are what are keeping me going while the ExCut and other SP DLC is being worked on. I've actually logged about as many hours playing the entire trilogy as I have just doing this MP. And I've never been one for online MP.

Not really, no. I am having an extremely hard time switching gears from being engrossed in a story where everything I was doing was being done with survival and triumph in mind and no reason to believe it wasn't attainable to:

...running around in game as if it were Robotron with no real direction or goal except to make the fighting last forever.

I'm not happy about that, but I'm only speaking for my own inability to stay motivated also. Others may not have such problems.

I also wonder if things would have been different if the first people to finish the game hadn't shot off their mouths like missiles about the ending on Youtube so others who weren't even 10% through would be completely torpedoed. In this me first society though, this is to be expected; and ultimately all thier silence would have done is delay the inevitable. I still would have a hard time buying DLC after realizing all roads led to a casket (in Rome, okay?)

(and again this is not a so called "disney ending" whine. Nothing about surviving what happens in this game would lead my FemShep to be dancing a jig and doing a freeze frame jump in the air over the corpses of nearly everyone she knows).
