I love Mass Effect. I love parrots. "Why not combine the two?" I thought to myself.

Here are the first three entries of my 'Mass Effect Aliens with Parrots' series. They're all done traditionally, mixed media.

Elcor with Macaws:



Turian with cockatoo:



Drell with Hawk-headed Parrot: (This one drifts a bit further from canon. The codex mentioned that Drell frills were flexible so I took some liberties.)



Coming soon: Krogan with Kakapo, Salarian with African Grey, and Quarian with...something.

Quarian with a Quaker or Monk parakeet. Quakers are hardy and have colonized areas where they escaped to the wild, but they aren't always welcome. One of the few parrots that build nests.

These are fantastic! Can't pick a favourite, but I love the expressions in the Drell one. Never noticed how similar Turians and cockatoos were, either. What mediums are you using, if you don't mind me asking?
