Of by being in proximity to his drones.        For some reason I remember the codex saying other reapers don have the overload by controlling an avatar that sovereign did....  I could be making it up though.

I think your right about that. Just wished they were at least in mp and or last stand for earth my favourite foe for sure.

i think that sovereign/saren was a special case for reaper possesion

I agree.   I hope they ad the collectors at some point.

The mp has a lot more potential.    I could see them kicking off a new enemy with a weekend like this

N7 rating is only how many times someone has promoted a character, plus their character levels added up. Many people (such as myself) get them to level 20 and then prefer to keep it that way. If you don't promote (like me) then your N7 rating doesn't go up.

Not only that, but people can get a higher N7 rating no matter what class they play in. I've seen people with an N7 rating of 4k+ that are just complete idiots, that play like bronze players. Just because they don't play in gold doesn't mean their N7 rating doesn't go up.

another reason N7 rating is invalid. poeple have alternate accounts. People may be playing on one account and have 5k+ but then switch to one with none, and then get booted even though they're really good.

Not only that, but some people may play insanity campaign and be really good from that, but just be trying out multiplayer for the first time. If really good players get booted for having a low N7 rating, that's not very fair...

I dunno I have never really kicked anyone because of their N7 level I don't like playing with human vanguards and some krogan I usually give krogan a chance but that's just me instead of discriminating one I do the other but since I started playing (demo till first day the game was out) human vanguards bother me with constant biotic charge and nova then go down. Then once back up go after say an atlas or branches with the same tactics ten complain that everyone sucks because we could not save them. I'm no saying all are like that but those I've played with have done that..

Well, as far as i know, there are less then 20 people with 4k+ N7 rating, and i certainly know, what there were more.. so it's simple - large part of them were cheaters (or smth like that), who eventially got banned. i can't believe, what some person played 1000+ matches on bronse and still unable/unwilling to play gold. But yes, I admit - N7 rating shouldn't be the main factor for choosing people in your team - imho, weapons should be..

Okay on the weapon picking why should they be I value your opinion but why weapons? I use the collector rifle mantis claymore and either preditor or canifax depending on what class ect. What I want to say I guess is that maybe you like say the m8 and because you think it sucks you kick them? I don't want that to sound like I'm just being a d*ck

Weapons - because man with M-8 (for example) fairly can't do the damage of M-6 or M-99 or bunch of other guns. And no tactic will save you on gold if you don't have some minimal firepower. Only biotics can afford to have crappy weapons - they have explosions..

I don't care at all about N7 rating on Gold I care about character levels. If you show up with a level 6 character for Gold I don't care if you're good or not. You're an ass who's either stupid or trying to show off and I don't want to deal with you in either case.

I accidentally played a match on gold at level one the other day. I was randomly searching for a bronze, and got put in at the tail end of round 1. I came in third place...So whatever to the above. Level is not as important as you seem to think. It's important, but it's not everything.

use your best judgment before kicking someone. obviously, don't let a low level join a gold match. simply, they won't have the buffs that their skills give them at higher levels. N7 ranking isn't always the best way to gauge skill level, but since it is there, might as well use it to your advantage.

weapons are not the best way to gauge either, since anyone can BUY specter packs with real money.


Personally, i look for the best combination of all three (character lvl, N7 ranking, and weapons). its been the safest rout for me. Although, there will always be those people that just shouldn't play gold, no matter how many times they've played the game.

I beg to disagree with you, Avenger moded with incinerate III, assault rifle III is just as powerful against reapers.

Everything is not everything) N7 rating means just experience, weapons - simply shows how do you prepared and if you know your class strategy (engineer with assault rifle _and_ shotgun, for example, obviously won't do), and level shows your ambitions.. it's just need balance, wouldn't you take guy with 4k+ N7 rating and M-77 X, but only lvl 5?) I would..
