Huh, I knew that the only thing that was about to change in N7 weekends would be the amount of enemies needed to kill. *3,000,000 instead of 1,000,000*-_-

they also changed the squad requirement, it now has to be a FULL extraction  :D

where are we gonna find 3 million banshees? weren't them like 1 in a million in the asari pool? are there that many asaris in the universe? lol

lets see, 3 million by a million is...3 trillion asaris in the universe?

They said they were made from Ardat-Yakshi.....and I thought Samara said there was only 3, before Morinth died <_<

Either more were made in about a few months.... or well... you get it :]

yeah, thats what im saying, wasn't it mention in an earlier mass effect game that it was like 1 in a million that came out like that...well, psychotic lol

Its space magic.

If I remember correctly the codex also mentions that Banshees are also created from Asaris who are Ardat-Yakshi as well as those with a genetic predisposition to become the same. So maybe that could explain why there were so much?

(I wonder why there was a monastery of them when Samara said there were three in existence as well )

So either that or space magic! :wizard:

She said 2 of her daughters were at the Monastary.... I am sure at least some Ardat-Yakshi were born within the months Shepard was stuck on Earth, but not this many.

Well, I also found this:

"Banshees are created specifically from asari with active or latent predispositions to becoming Ardat-Yakshi."

I guess Samara was right when she said, at the monastary, that they did change the Asari like that. Seems a bit meh though.... aw well, they all die the same way.

Edit:

Found the weak spot
"Despite being humanoid, the Banshee is immune to headshots, and does not
take extra damage from them. Instead of the head, aim for the bigger
target that is her bloated belly.
"

Good luck destroying them with new found knowledge. Shoot the fetus!

There's a whole spectrum of Ardat-Yakshi conditions, Samara's daughters are just the only three living Ardat-Yakshi at the most extreme (and lethal) end of that spectrum. Almost 1/100 asari and afflicted with the condition that renders them unable to meld with their partners, which can lead to physchological issues. Ardat-Yakshi are confined to monasteries to hide them from the asari public who are ashamed of them and to keep knowledge of the condition away from the wider galactic community more than for protection it seems.

Another Hurricane? All I've got are an Eagle and Crusader :( And I suppose I have to be called elitist since my name comes from Elite.

3 000 000 banshees though, hell. Forget the vorcha, we need a rocket-laden elcor squad member for this.

I've been wondering about that for a while now. Do you know if the belly is a weak spot or just somewhere to aim at because it's harder to miss?

3mil Banshees? Wow, we might actually fail this one; the others have been cakewalks, but this will be challenging. Lock and load, folks, we've got Reapers to fight.

Would someone please send out a mass message to the people still complaining about the Hurricane that it got buffed and is actually quite awesome now despite its weight? Seriously.

78.1 Million Cobra Missile launches...I believe about 1,000 or so of those are mine, launched and as a complete miss, successfully placed in permanent orbit around Tuchanka, Ontarom and Menae…

Just sayin

This.  It's 1% of Asari, and they're hidden away, much like most societies do with their more severe mental patients.  And the less severe usually stay in their circles anyway, so we don't see them that much.

So it's 1 in 100, not 1 in 1 million.

Translation: Squad goal = Farm Geth on Firebase White. That's where are those 36 % of all the matches on the wallpaper coming from. I think it would be good if the squad goal was to "defeat reapers on gold difficulty" ;)

I tried that yesterday. With a team of biotics I don't think it would be that hard for people to accomplish as long as everyone knows what they're doing.
