Provided EA's servers don't have another meltdown, are we expecting the packs around 5pm today or tomorrow?

Yes, true, that's how it happens now. Weeks ago, however, they would announce mission success earlier, and then detail when packs were coming out.Battlepope190 wrote...
They post the after-action report and begin pack distribution at the same time every time: Late Tuesday. We still have a few hours to go.
I guess they wait on those now because of the countless players that don't read, and set it up closer to the packs' release.

This may be a newbie question but here goes, since I have promoted my class many times, how does one determine/calculate the N7 ranking?
It's the total level of all the characters you have levelled plus a 10 point bonus for every promotion. So if you level everything to 20, you would have 120. Then if you promoted one class you'd get 10 and be at 130. Start a new character from that promoted class and get it to 20 again and you would have 150. Continue ad infinitum.

in most cases, I would agree, but not in me3. This is a game where you have to survive waves of enemies. If somebody stops to chat, they could die and easily lose the game for everyone.

Ok thanks, for the information. I was aware of the 10 point bonus for leveling up but after 'X' number of level ups I have lost count. I guess other have been more diligent about keeping track and saying that they are at level 200 or 300. Turian Rebel Out.

Vorcha engineer? Where'd you hear that? I'd like a source.... cause that's retarded, with or without a source. If they put in Vorcha engineer, it's still retarded. Vorcha are scavengers, not technicians.
I guess if it comes down to it, Engineer MIGHT work, but sentinal still sounds better to me.

In retrospect, I get the feeling BW is actually considering implementing text chat. See, ME3 uses Unreal Engine 3, which by default has a button bound for text chat (T). I'm not sure if it's still there, but when I checked the controls shortly after getting ME3, it was even listed under keybinds; it did nothing though. Recently I was changing some keybinds and tried to use T for something else, and got an error message saying I couldn't use that key because it was unchangeably bound to a different function. It still does nothing as far as I know; maybe they'll implement text chat with a patch at some point?Zaidra wrote...

I seriously hope not. If they do, it'll ruin the game for a lot of players (Specifically gold players, but probably silver and bronze, too) because we'd have a bunch of noobs stopping to chat every two seconds, causing their deaths and unbalancing the odds. Might cause match losses, and if they add it in, I guarentee you the majority of fans will be pissed at Bioware. I think Bioware already know this, though, so I doubt they will add them.

Chris Priestly-
Sorry folks, this is not true. There is no ME3 MP DLC coming out tomorrow. This is the internet and you cannot "unsee" things, but the details in this are not correct.
I am not going to close this or anything as the rumor will continue to spread whether I do or not, but please refer people to my post here when it comes up.
We will have more information on ME3 MP DLC in the future, I hope later this month, but nothing more to be said now.

I really think it won't be a good idea first of all we players are too busy killing our enemies to be text chating unless you're dead and also who will text chat in the middle of a battle thats like saying "Oooo Look at me im text chating come and kill me"!!!Zaidra wrote...

Packs are givin at 5pm west coast time right so about 10 in pa?
From west to east
5pm (U) = 6pm (T) = 7pm (S) = 8pm ®
However, we're in daylight savings (PST =/= PDT) so everyone moves east one step.
5pm PST (U) = 6pm PDT (T) = 7pm (S) = 8pm ® = 9pm (Q) EDT.

I think just to be real Evil to keep every one busy like rats in a maze the next challange should be:
Allied Goal: Kill 3,000,000,000 Brutes
Squad Goal: Survive 10 gold matches until a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty.
Squad Goal: Survive 1 gold match until a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty using only your feet.
