[/quote] im not a great gold player but i know my role and its support i just pound with my geth shotgun and m99 or my striker (totaly usless unless you want to stagger them ) i call it the boom stck ... its the team that that makes all the differents between a easy gold challenge and a hard or failed gold challenge ,, firsty a bunch of sniper rifles is not going to win it to make it easyer a salarian engineer with decoy 1 or two infiltrator for then scary run and upload targets and the last person doesnt matter but i would pick another engineer with a turret or asari adept with the dome ( while the dome isnt a a stand up and shoot every thing) it does help keep the shields recharge a little better..some sniper riffles are good but you need the fire rate to keep pounding them... this is just my opinion on fire base white against the geth .. ohh and bunker down in the the bottom inside corner PLZ .. up your weapons ammo capacity to nothing worse than leaving you teammates with 2 primes a few hunters and pyros because you need ammo

*sigh* I doubt I'll ever get a commendation pack. Missed all the "easy" ones and I'm probably not yet skilled enough for getting a gold extraction of any kind, let alone a "full extraction".

A bit sad that the bar has been set too high for two missions in a row now. (;_

Freaking hell, Bioware!
Give us an actual challenge.
Banshees and Unspecified Gold Extractions are cakewalks.
Make it so you have to do a Reaper Gold, or have to use a specific map, or a Reaper Gold ON a specific map.

I'll give you one.
Reaper, Gold, Full Extraction Only, Reactor.

so foreal? you shoot banshees in the belly for higher damage...wish i'd known that earlier
i need to get my adepts leveled after the last promotion. good luck everyone.

FULL extraction, meaning all 4 players have to be in the extraction zone and alive when the timer hits 0.
While FBW/G/G should still make this relatively easy, it's going to be somewhat more difficult; no one can afford to dick around anymore.

Commendation pack is for extraction on any gold map. Just go W/G/G and you'll get it. Just like last week. Except you need full extraction now.

 You'd be surprised, gold isn't actually that hard. Get a class that you are good as to level 20, and then try silver. If you can beat silver to full extraction, you can play gold. I've found that gold is actually easier than silver, because the people are smart on gold (silver is essentially bronze with harder enemies, gold has a different playstyle all together) Then just follow the gold player's lead. Follow them, stay as a group, and stay behind cover.

somebody was saying that they were told the next DLC would have a quarian infiltrator and quarian engineer, and they were confused cause there already are. 
I was thinking it might be male quarians, so... I guess we'll find out.

My apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but do the Banshees have to be killed on Gold or just across all 3 levels? I'm a PS3 gamer so I only had the one experience with the event. I was under the impression the Phantoms had to be killed on Gold but then I saw somewhere else that it was across all difficulty levels.

My group and I usually play Gold but I have a few others who wanted to know as well.

Thanks for the information. I've played against the Reapers on gold before and won full extraction. It's just a matter of patience, the right map and the right people  I appreciate the info very much. Take care and good luck this weekend :wizard:

OOoo i look forward to their dead hint give away of the inevitable 'Rebellion' DLC but till Vorcha arrive, im afraid it looks like we on our own against the hardest of all top tier enemies in mplayer...the BANSHEES the things that sound like a Ringraith and the only reason they are more terrifying than ringwraiths, is becaue WE are on the frontlines- expect that no. of rocket luancher missile stat to triple by end of this challenge wkend.

 This should be the toughest challenge yet and it's going to be fun.
To those of you saying this challenge is lazy, maybe make some suggestions if you have different ideas. BioWare doesn't have to offer us these challenge weekends, so stop acting like we're entitled to them :innocent:
