You're quite possbily the best critic I've ever met.

Why, thank you, but that probably means you did not meet many.

I just reject the immature way of critique that IsaacShep represents here. Watching your video and posting here every 5 minutes posts like "ooooh here we go again comedy gold xDDDDD lol", is of little value.

As for the unlimited ammo gun, it's the very last thing I would consider as proof, and the first one I'd slap a "lazy" label on.

Yea I agree IsaacShep needs to calm down your post just turning into ramblings now which in turn is making you look immature.

You dislike the IT, we get it. You have issues with the video, we get that to. Couldn't you just watch it, list your grievances then make a simple, yet comprehensive post instead of near-spamming the thread with what equates to "I OBJECT TO THIS OUTRRRRRAGEOUS CLAIM!" (roll the r's and say it in a funny accent). One post is all you need, then debate/discuss as necessary.

This is almost an embarrassment to the rest of us who don't support IT.

Nobody complains when ITs 'spam' the boards with new post supporting IT so seriously. And listing all my points in a sinlge post or multiple post doesn't change what I would write

Right, but you have to reload. And I believe you have your HUD.
If you recall, I said in the video that no place in the entire series has all of the following done at the same time:

  • Unlimited Ammo
  • No reloading required
  • No weapon overheating
  • No HUD display
  • No weapon re-charge period
If it were another gameplay mechanic, they would've just done the exact same thing at the beginning of the game and enabled reloading.

But we have different animations in the ending sequence than standard combat animations. Plus this is the grand finale, obviously they wanted it pretty and cinematic uh-oh and HUDs don't exactly scream cinematic

Funny you skipped the bit about overheats.  Why doesn't the gun not over heat?

What's the point of making it overheat in a sequence that's not about combat but about pretty cinematics?

Then why make the gun shoot at all after entering the Citadel since shooting does absolutely nothing nor have any use after killing the few husks and Marauder Shields before going into the beam. (besides the scene with TIM, which is a cutscene) Shooting wildly while limping and looking dead during Shepard's heroic journey to the control panel is not very cinematic.

So we can vent and shoot Starchild until we get bored of shooting him.

@Ownaholic

I was getting worried during the 1M1 segment that you were going to miss that it was an asset from ME1, glad you caught it and gave it an "inconclusive". It totally fits with what Legion says in the Geth Consensus, and the rest of the "familiar" assets.

Several people have complained about the same topics being repeated.

Posting your grievances in one post is better for arguing your point, and it would help you better represent your platform so to speak. Then you can discuss/debate/deliberate and actually be taken seriously. Consistently reiterating your point, over and over, is too much and devalues it. Even you would have to agree to that.

I'd love for IT to be true. The one thing that makes no sense to me - and was ignored in the video - is that you only have one option when your Galactic Readiness Rating is low. You can only pick "Destroy".

Now, I know - it was discussed previously, and many people say that your forces are too small and the reapers have no need for Shepard as they win regardless of his successful indoctrination. Clearly, if that was the case, Harbinger would roast Shepard right away. Why would the reapers show Shepard images of the Illusive Man and Anderson as well as the Starchild? All of these are thought to help them to indoctrinate Shepard. In spite of this, there is only one choice - destroy. So why attempt indoctrination without trying to finish it? The only reason I can remotely think of is that the reapers used the time during the indoctrination attempt to evaluate the strength of Shepard's army. But even that is far-fetched as they had previously engaged the fleet and had plenty of time while Shepard was making his way through London.

It makes no sense.

Its been stated that if you keep the collector base in me2 your only option is control. Obviously bioware was going easy on the newcomers.

Yup, perhap I should've listed it all in. Doesn't matter anymore, no point discussing this video anymore. I just got to the end of it and it goes full into "IT or nothing!" mode. The author claims that nothing but the IT would be a great ending and that adopting IT would satisfy everyone. Nothing to do with objective analysis or "providing info for people to make up their own minds".

Excellent video. I really hope this is what Bioware had planned, and if not I hope they run with it anyway. I NEED that Harbinger boss fight!

Also thanks to SirCroft for my new signature.

Honestly I don't get why people want some harbinger boss fight. First off I think gaming is past the point where we need to have a boss fight at the end of a game. Even as it stands the whole priority earth setting is pretty epic. Also a harbinger boss fight would probably be just like the reaper fight earlier in the game so whatever. It wouldn't be a terrible thing to do, but I don't see it as anything needed for the EC to be successful. All it needs is the confirmation of the IT and a wrap up on what happens after Shephard wakes up, or doesn't

Great vid, but I'll remain a non IT supporter but I wouldn't really care if Bioware goes on ahead confirming IT. Lots of valid points are made, I'll leave it at that.
