Hi, I was just wondering if the collector's edition was the "same game" as the normal one... I ask because originally I had told my local gamestop to reserve me a collector's edition, but they entered it in as a normal edition - and the guy said he could get me one after 2 days when the people who reserved but didn't pick up lost their copies.  I have all the add-on downloadable codes, but I don't want to use em if they won't be able to be used with my collector's edition when I get it.  Anyone know?

It's the same game. But there are three additional items (equipment) that came with the CE version.

i got 3 codes for my collectors edition but the main difference is that you get a extra disc that talks about how they made it and the soundtrack and you get in a tin case with a cloth map of it.

Its hte same game but the bonus dis alone is worth it not counting the bonus items you get Its got a section called wardens training that helps you spec up your characters fro your first play through and tells you where the most powerful items are for your classes

wasnt sure if you saw my post or not its the same game but the bonus disc is well worth it it has a section called wardens training with best specs for classes and locations of the most powerful armors for them

I had simillar problems, in that my gamestop, and all gamestops within fifty miles apparently, did not get ANY copies of the collecters edition. This is odd, as i live in louisianna, and am in fact 45 miles from new orleans. from what ive heard, everyone who wanted collectors got screwed. mine also came with all the collocters content, even though i didnt get the preorder bonuses. but at least i have the game.

It's the same game, but you get a couple of extras in the form of a soundtrack, making-of DVD, map, and some free DLC stuff.
