We still don't know what she was doing with that mirror but I'd imagine that there's something big behind it.

Maybe it's for the best, though. I hated DA II's "art style" change.

But on-topic. If the next game is in Orlais, it would be criminal for her not to appear in it, considering that if you reject her, it's reported that a woman matching Morrigan's description became an advisor in the Empress' court.

It was presented in the epilogue as just a rumor though and I think Witch Hunt has changed that around.

Hmph. Cheers, I never knew she appeared in the book. Seems like she was going to be involved in some kind of planned DA2 DLC. If I ever play DA2 again I'll be sure to look out for it. I dont like the look of that huge piece of "armor" sticking out of her shoulder though. Looks like she strapped a huge seashell to her shoulder..

A brief mention by Flemeth.

Another reason to think Morrigan and Flemeth are major characters for the duration of the series are Flemeth's (and probably Morrigan's) connection to dragons an the franchise being called "Dragon Age".

It might revel around recreating old faith of Dragons, that Tevinter had before they tried to usurp Golden City.

Somewhat spoilish reply below:
She actually gets mentioned twice. First time by Flemeth outside Lothering, when speaking to Hawke (depending on what dialogue choice you make though I don't think she's mentioned by name). Second time is when you complete her quest on Sundermount--this time by name, and if you ask her who Morrigan is, she elaborates with a third line, so technically 3 lines are spoken about her.
As to her eventual future, I am sure she will play one in Dragon Age's sequels. Obviously, not all Morrigan fates will be the same since she has different things happen to her in Origins, and I couldn't begin to speculate WHAT will happen--esp in a no-spoilers section of the boards, but I don't think Bioware is done with her story yet, (or Flemeth's) not by a long shot.
