Jacob is your classic cheating dude....all talk and that's it.

Ashley is a stereotype too but I'm not going to go there.

Kaidan is just a flat out failed attempt at the tough but sensitive guy stereotype.....nobody liked him in ME1 and only got a free ride because he had to be there if the player let ashley die...though I doubt many would have known the difference if BioWare just declared Ashley as the canon VS and called it a day.

The statistics from when  ME1 was still the newest ME game on the block showed that people in general favored Ashley by a landslide.....over 80% let Kaidan hug the nuke, hell it's what I always did.....30+ times, not even my one femshep playthrough had this guy live.

yeah....people hate on Ashley but they forget the alternative is a billion times worse....no thanks. I'll give Ahs special invitations and a welcome aboard party if it means I don't have to put up with Kaidan's sorry ***.

I'm not a huge fan of Ashley but I don't particularly mind her either so it's all good.

It's good to hear she's getting some lines for the EC (I expected she would anyway), but hopefully she isn't recording lines like "Why the heck am I on the Normandy" and "Why are we leaving Shepard" and "Boy I sure miss Shepard and all my other friends and family because I'm stuck on Gilligan's planet"
