I know what you mean, I think garrus talks to every squadmate but her. grrrr its annoying.

Really, what I find most distasteful about the US is the way the courts system can overturn legislation because of the personal opinions of the judges. So much for 'will of the people'.

The lack of national referendum and the existence of the elecotral college (which isn't always obligated to vote in line with its constituency) did away with the will of the people far more effectively than activist judges on either side of the spectrum.

Back on topic now: I will be really pissed if al their new dialog is just death screams when Harbinger kills everyone. Said it before, but now I feel like that is the most likely case. Maybe I'll be surprised.

No absolute confirmation but we know there is no Mass Effect without Tali and Garrus.....ever at all so we can pretty much count these two as 100%

Hmm... I'd be more sure Liara will be back, given she is the only squadmate that cannot die throughout the series.

I think even if VA's cannot make it back, that doesn't mean the characters won't be there in some fashion. They might repurpose some audio or have a montage scene (say in the epilogue) with no dialogue, just music.

I agree, they're popular (my canon-male Shep romanced Tali, I love Tali!). It wasn't a pissing contest.

I was just saying that, without direct confirmation, the first one I'm likely to assume returning based solely on faith is Liara. Just because of her attributes as a character (being alive, and around, for every player). Not on my preference.

I personally think BW are trying to get everyone (squadmate-wise) back. And if they can't, that doesn't mean the characer won't be in there somewhere (point above).

I think they know what they've done wrong (feedback). They know they have to fix it (they pushed everything else back, brought back VA's). They know who people blame (Hudon and Walters are silent). I think even Walters knows that they made mistakes with the endings (unless he's narcisstic, you need to be open to criticism). They're lucky they're in a form of media that allows changes to be made to a work after its completion. I think their aim with EC is to make as many of their fans happy again, without totally conceding what they created.

I think it's possible for them to fix a great deal without touching the choices/Catalyst part (for example, clarifying Joker's actions or giving epilogues with the crew/Shepard together doesn't effect the endings). Will they? I jump between optimism and pessimism (mainly because they tell us nothing).

I wish they'd give us some very BROAD ideas about what they're doing (well, less broad then one-word summations like 'clarification' or 'closure').

Wouldn't it make sense that if Kaiden is confirmed then Ashley would be confirmed? If thats the case wouldn't ALL the love interest characters be returning? (Garrus, Tali, Liara ect.)

Eh, I'd much rather they give my character a choice other than genocide, turning everyone into cyborgs, and suicide (Control), but...we'll see what they do.  I'm not optimistic at this point.

I do think they have the potential to make great games, mind you, I just think Mass Effect is a dead horse at this point.
