I think the Drell husks would have swords for a arms and a gun for another, sort of like a reaper phantom. And maybe for Quarians a bunch of wirey tentacles in place of a face they could be reaper engineers, (Quarians need new face). Oh and a VORCHA HUSK we need one of those.

These are amazing! I love your concepts for husks and adore your Kaidan/Shep picture!

I think that a Drell husk would have stealth ability. Makes me shudder just thinking about meeting them at the battle field...

Not a bad idea.  Maybe I'll do one of those too when I finish the drell/quarians.  I don't know if I want to do vorcha though, they already look badass enough.

My favorite Is the elcor, but man I'd hate fighting them!
The Volus would probably do best to spawn behind Alliance and surprise them IMO

Probably a reaper variant of the phantom, minus the handgun I'd say.

EDIT: Does it have biotics btw? Maybe the Banshee blink? That + cloak would be horrifying!

The Drell is my favourite with the blade hands, kind of fits an assassiny feel. xD
I would be scared to face the Hanar, Volus and Elcor reapers, they look really deadly
The Salarian one doesn't look too dangerous but it sure looks creepy

I thought of him as being more of a phantom variant too, only with huge blade arms instead of a tiny dagger.  Plus beneath the sharp parts where the hands turn into blades I'm going to add hand cannons (can't tell now because it's not colored).

Really, really impressive. I particularly like the hanar one. That zipping up to you on the battlefield would be terrifying.

I like this idea. it'd be a nice little mocking reflection of how we find that the Volus and Elcor had to share an embassy in the first game.

i like the Drell husk but it almost doesn't look reaperfied enough for me, maybe if you added some marauder-esque metal chest plating or more wires and blue lights it might look better? Still really nice work though

How come I didn't see those earlier? They are just perfect (although I prefer the 'canon' salarian Husks, I think they are called Adiuncts or sth), especially the Elcor.

I really like the Drell. I would like to see it with a darker more decayed skin tone though.

Like someone else mentioned, the Drell should have cloaking, but that's a gameplay mechanic and not something to draw.

I still critique that most husks have grotesquely exaggerated features of the source creature. The Elcor is great, but I think the volus should be disgustingly bloated (and painfully, like obvious stretched and nearly tearing skin bulging out from under ripped armor, maybe looking like a squeezed balloon in a couple of places) to the point of looking like a ball on stubby legs. (Higher-pressure = bigger pop!/explosion)

If I could draw a Yahg (which were being left alone in ME3 despite almost ready for space-flight according to some sources), I would have its entire head enlarged with eyes scattered around in all directions on the top of its head (like a mutated spider) and able to completely split its head in three ways to open up like a flower-pod filled with teeth.

I've been trying not to go too crazy with the bloating and what not up till now but I'm increasingly starting to realize that it's kind of necessary so I'll be going back and adding more to the existing ones as well as making more grotesque variants of the other races.  Working on the Krogan now and he's looking pretty twisted lol.  I keep putting off the quarians since I hate them as a race and what they did to the geth. Hopefully that hate will result in a pretty mutilated reaper version though when I do get to it.
