Attack speed glitch?

So, I've heard about the Isabela and Sebastian friendship ability and attack speed glitch, and I think it might be happening to me.
I'm heading towards the end of act 3, and I've "friendshipmanced" Isabela; I have max friendship with her, and have since around the middle of act 2. I hadn't played in a few days, and when I booted up my PS3 and played today I noticed that my attack speed seemed a little slower than usual. I've had her in and out of my party (though mostly in, she's one of my "permanent" party members, unless totally necessary) ever since I met her earlier in the game, and have had her friendship ability for most of that time and haven't noticed a thing, so I'm surprised if it is suddenly occuring now.

My question is: is there any surefire way that I can check to see if this problem is actually occurring, or if it's just my imagination (is there a stat that changes, or something to that effect)? I've heard there's no way to fix or reverse it - is this true, or is there anything I can do?
Thanks for the help, guys.:)

The attack speed bug from the un-patched version would make you attack at an almost game-breaking speed IIRC. Or at least 50 percentish slower. Perhaps you had a weapon/rune equipped that increased speed and you just noticed a slight drop off.

Well that's good news. I didn't have a speed rune or anything equipped, but I was playing another game where the attack speed was more rapid, so I think it was just my imagination and I was getting the two a bit mixed up or something. I wouldn't say that it's 50% slower, that's pretty massive!

I take it by un-patched version you mean that there has been a patch released to fix this, anyways? As far as I know my patches are up-to-date.

Yeah it was fixed within a couple months of the game coming out, the only way you would have it is if you played without the internet connected to DL the newest patch. It couldn't be what you're experiencing because it was pretty bad for those who had it back then.
