Quite simply, this is a thread for those who liked every character, understood every character and appreciated every character. A thread for those who were equally torn between their love of Ash and Kaidan on Virmire. A thread for those who would never send Jacob down the vents. A thread for those who always gave Miranda her intel. For those who think that TIM was a Magnificent Bastard and Kai Leng was cool, but tragically underused. For those of us that can love Tali, Garrus and Liara without mindless fawning. For those who regret that they had to shoot Udina. For those who long to hear Harbinger once more assume control.

So here's to us. And enjoy responsibly, letting no trolls interrupt the harmony.






The one exception to this is Starchild. You are permitted to hate him.

Yeah. Yeah, I wouldn't say I like all the characters, either, but I do appreciate almost all of them to one degree or another. A part of my soul whittles down and dies a bit whenever I see character hate.

I despise one particular annoying squad member. But apart from her i more or less love everyone elses character.

I love all the squad-mates, for many different reasons, the bond I've formed with them all while fighting alongside them in any of the games is one of the coolest bonds ever.

From the ones I met first in ME1
Even those that died within the first few seconds of ME1, Richard L. Jenkins and Nihlus Kryik.

The people who could die on Virmire, Ashley Kaidan, Kirrahe and Commander Rentola.
And the Greatest Krogan and my brother Wrex.

To the other ME1 Squad Mates
Garrus a good pal. Tali the sister I never had. Liara whatever her role maybe, Prothean Expert, Cerberus Body Snatcher, Vengeful Information Broker, or lastly Shadow Broker/Prothean Expert and an overall Jack of All Trades

To the SR-1 crew, Presley, Adams, Joker, Dr. Chakwas, and the The Normandy Requisitions Officer, whose real name I never knew.

To my ME2 squad mates, Grunt my kid brother. Thane my best friend and brother. Mordin the great Salarian Professor. Miranda the lady who rebuilt me (and she has mighty fine @ss too). Jacob Taylor who was often like the voice of reason. Jack Subject-Zero who I took under my wing and became her good friend. Zaeed the crazy bad@ss Merc/Bounty Hunter who should be nothing less than a big Goddamn Hero. Kasumi the Master Thief who should have hooked up with Jacob Taylor. Legion who proved that Geth are not what I thought they were in ME1. And to Samara the Justicar who stole my virtual heart.


To the SR-2 Crew, Kelly Chambers a good friend, EDI the AI, Rupert the cook who's fate in ME3 I wish I knew, and Gabby and Ken the greatest comic relief characters in the whole series. And to The Illusive Man, for being such a cunning brilliant man, whom earned my respect and his character was so enjoyable.

TO Aria T'Loak Queen of Omega. Armando Bailey by far my favorite minor role character in the series. The Children and Family of my squad mates Kolyat son of Thane. Oriana Sister of Miranda. Mirala daughter of Samara.

The Quarian Admirals, Zaal'Koris the best of them, Han'Gerrel, Aunite Raan, and Xen. To Kal'Reger, and Veetor.

To my ME3 squad, James Vega whom I liked very much, to Javik my brother from another Cycle.

To the SR-3 Crew, Samantha the chick that beat me at chess twice. To Steve Cortez the best damn shuttle pilot ever.

To Primearch Adrien Victus. His son Tarquin Victus who died a hero. Eve the great Krogan Queen. Rila who gave her life saving her sister and mother. To Falere the last living daughter of Samara.

Kahlee Sanders. Jack's students Rodriquez and Prangley. David and Gavin Archer. Steven Hackett, the Man David Anderson and the other man Udina. Gianna Parasini and Sheila, Li the mechanic on Norveria, Balek, Maelon Heplorn, Rana Thanoptis, Vido Santiago, Anto, The Salarian Dalatrass and Podak Wiks.

To Harbinger who I wanted to fight and talk. Sovereign, Saren, and Benezia. And the Collecters and Wilson, Yahg Shadow Broker, and Feron whom Liara should start dating.

To Kai Leng and Tink Krios. And everyone else.

Is it OK to hate Jacob's dad? Because I really hate him, I mean really the dude was a sick dude, I mean I may have liked him if I had met the dude Jacob remembered as his Dad, and not that monster whatever his name was, I know him only as Jacob's Dad. I mean he sits right under God Child.

I can't in good faith join this thread because **** Udina, Kai Leng, most of the Council, Feron and to a lesser extent TIM.

However I see no support for Saren or Sovereign. For shame.

Nevermind, gearseffect covered it.

Well, I don't have characters I hate ('cept Starchild) ... so this should be my thread. ^^

Think I suggested something like that two days ago (Mesina should know it) too, but was too lazy to start such thread. Basically ... I love the idea.

Stand strong, stand together.
Only that way BW may listen to us. Who knows?

Well ... just a suggestion ...


Make me a tribute to ALL Mass Effect characters ... they deserve it. All of them risked their life (and some of them even died) to help Commander Shepard defeating the Reapers.
Keep me posted.
