So I need some help on my Adept playthrough! Is it possible to carry submachine guns and assault rifles, if I upgrade my weight capacity early in the game and get the ultralight upgrade for the SMGs while mainting close to 200% cooldown?

Personally, I've found that cooldowns of +150% or better are sufficient, and that +200% is overkill for most powers. Generally, on my adept, I keep the bonus around +185%, with an assault rifle and a pistol as backup. My latest playthrough, I'm experimenting with the Valiant instead.

Yeah, the only reason to shoot for 200% cooldown is in MP. For Insanity SP playthrough, my adept was in the 130% - 150% range most of the game.
