 His voice actor Keythe Farley says he's not doing any work for EC, whether he just doesn't wanna do it or he just didn't get a call because BW doesn't wanna bring him back is beyond me. I'm not really a Thanemancer myself, but he was one of my favorite characters and I'm sad hes not coming back at all.

Well, it is an expansion on the ending, and we know where Thane is by that time.

Yeah, it doesn't mean there isn't going to be an expansion for him, if they give the option they can just add more to the EC for him.

We didn't expect him to come back for the EC. We're hoping for a DLC that adds to the storyline, or adds an alternate story line. They have to decide/do that before they'd add anything for him in the EC.

Personally, I'd feel better if there was some aftermath regarding his death, instead of dropping it with not ONE conversation discussing it.

That would make me a HAPPIER Thanemancer. Now, hell yes, I'd like a cure choice, and more dialogue, and all that. But knowing he's not doing more for the EXTENDED cut of the end doesn't break my heart. Hell, it doesn't even preclude a future DLC with more Thane choices.

Though if I heard he was, I think the Thane threads would be an estrogen riot to a degree bold men should fear to imagine. And it would be glorious.

Soon Miranda, Jack and Jacob VAs will say they arent recording either. And well find more content of the ME1 characters in the EC.


Remember, bw used this "keep it simple" rule for all the characters from ME2.

Thank you for your thought out comment, I'm pretty sure I know what you guys "are after".  This was only posted as I had not seen it posted before in the Thane thread or elsewhere.

Thank you for your thought out comment, I'm pretty sure I know what you guys "are after".  This was only posted as I had not seen it posted before in the Thane thread or elsewhere.

I'm not sure you do know what we are after, and you probably don't care.
It actually was posted in one of the Thane threads so most of us already knew about that.

I didn't see anything disrespectful in Vertigo's posts, they were fairly civil responses to an unnecessary, snide comment regarding Miranda and her fanbase.

I'm sorry, I didn't intend to be snide toward the Miranda fans. I was angry at BIOWARE for ignoring the Thane project and playing favourites.

And Veritgo was not exactly being a paragon of civility by linking Weeke's post and basically telling us that we had no hope.

Netherless I still apologise. I was distraught and didn't quite make my post clear.

I just think tensions are high because so many of us were let down by ME3 and we've been stewing over it ever since the release. I support the Miranda (and Jack and Jacob and Samara) fans, too. Solidarity is important. Thane is my Shep's LI but I like the other ME2 characters too and would like to see more of them as well.

All we can do is keep on fighting for the characters who were so severely sidelined. I'm not bothered that Keythe wasn't called back yet to record for the EC. As it stands, Thane is dead.

However, that doesn't mean an option can't be added later via DLC to be able to keep him alive.

Agreed. This was always going to be a bit of a bumpy ride. Obviously, we all have our focus, but we also need to keep supporting each other.

I understand the reaction, believe me. However, to clarify: Priestly answered a tweet that was a direct question about where to send materials. In this he was just doing his job as CM, and it obviously applies to everyone's materials.

I don't know why Tully joined the #FindMiranda group, but I can tell you he wasn't interested in the poster in particular (most of the threads there are not about the poster). He said he would look at some of the feedback posted there regarding EC/DLC and relay it to the devs (no promises that anything would be implemented). So, I don't think there is any slight intended toward the Thane poster project.

Tully joined our group because of #FindMiranda's effort and dedication. He didn't just pop out of nowhere. I've been interacting with him via twitter even before the campaign. Plus the team would constantly tweet him clever #FindMiranda lines.

This is why we should be united, if one LI group could get attention... what more if we are one force?
