Why EA seems to fail:

Instead of being a gaming company, that makes great games, and then let the profits take care of themselves, as people flock to buy their product ,

they have morphed into

A financial company that tries to acquire companies that happen to make games, and they chase profits, by trying to squeeze as much as they can out of the different titles. They hope for good games, but do not allow the devs the time or resources to guarantee they are great.

As to this topic - how can a game that has yet to be announced be delayed? I am confused.

Devs are shuffled between projects all the time. It certainly isn't the cause of any kind of 'delay'.
