I often think The Angry One's views can be overtly harsh and erring to the side of intentional pessimism, but I agree on this one: synthesis too closely resembles either what Shepard has fought since day one, or what Saren yearned for in ME1. The realistic outlook is that every shred of evidence we have that points to the merging of organic and synthetic material is very, very negative, no matter if the Catalyst---a stranger dressed as the child whom Shepard views as the face of humanity's suffering---tries to convince/manipulate us otherwise.
Instead of "I don't know", what do you think Shepard's last ingame words should be?

If he must be saying his final words to the Starbrat, I think we can all agree that those words should be:
"Does this smell like chloroform to you?"
"Does this smell like chloroform to you?"

I honestly would've started to cry if right before the end he looked straight into the gamer's eyes and said "I'm Commander Shepard, and you can continue my adventures through DLC." And then just died or ended the game or whatever.
On an actual note, I really don't think I would care. Obviously something heroic would be the best, like if he started to have reservations about what he was doing, and then just reaffirmed himself by whispering, "I need to be the man the galaxy needs right now. . ." before going and dying by doing any of the choices.

"I've been trying to figure something in my head, and maybe you can help me out, yeah? When a person is insane, as you clearly are, do you know that you're insane? Maybe you're just sitting around, reading "The ultimate solution", do you just stop and go, "Wow! It is amazing how ****ing crazy I really am!"? Yeah. Do you guys do that?" *** "Whatever, my Carnifex has a date with that tube over there"

Wasn't Patton the guy who said killing Germans was a shame compared to other Europeans? Especially the Jews?

I love the part in the movie where he sends a squad to take down a machine gun nest across a trench, but the gun pins the squad down, and they're scared to cross the trench. Soon, they hear screaming... and General Patton is with his Aide d' Camp all the way across the trench, just out of the gun's view. He's screaming to the squad at the top of his lungs "GET OVER HERE!!!"Gen Petitt wrote...

Either something like grabbing the LI, turning to the camera: "I'll be in my bunk"
or
If there's an extended epilogue to the ending where Shepard wakes up in a hospital: "What's for breakfast? The living legend wants eggs!"
(Either Firefly reference works
)
