Saturating the kill feed - a Geth Infiltrator build. (a 29:10 Solo Gold Run + Video)

Bad Robot BBQs Cerberus at FB Reactor.
Skill allocation is shown at the very end of the video.
Tac Cloak - 4 (Damage)
Proxy Mine - 5 (Radius + Damage Taken)
Hunter Mode - 6 (Weapon accuracy + Rate of Fire + Damage)
Networked AI - 6 (Weapon DMG + Headshots + Weapon DMG)
Advanced Hardware - 5 (Durability + Shield Recharge).
Equipment used: AP rounds III, Adrenaline Mod III, Shotgun Rail AMP III
Claymore mods: Smart choke V + Extended Barrel V
Consumables used: 2 medigels, 5 rockets, 5 health packs, 5 ammo packs.
Wave 6 with lots of Phantoms starts at 12 minutes in.
Discussion: This build has been a favourite of mine for almost a week now - in capable hands it scores upwards of 130k against any enemy on any map. Atlases die in 4 shots after proxy mine, Banshees in 5 if all pellets hit. Hunters & Pyros die from 1 well placed headshot even without cloak. Hunter mode's accuracy bonus makes the claymore deadly at any range so you don't have to hesitate taking a shot if you have a target near your crosshair.
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Happy you don't. I think there was a poll somewhere though, which placed it among most disliked maps along with Condor.

Err, why rate of fire if you're using a Claymore?
My question too.

Yeah. Fortunately it's less of a hindrance for Geth Infiltrators than many other classes where it can be a crippling disadvantage, though. Still, if it wasn't for the stupid store system meaning I'd have to spend forever earning new equipment again, I'd probably pick up the PC version just for multiplayer (had to get X360 version so I could finish the fight with my original Shepard, of course).

idk why some pc-people complain about the GPS when you can do ridiculous stuff like this with the claymore on pc.
Well played by Spec7re though! What's the name of the first song?

You can do pretty much the same thing as in this video on the 360. Like I said, the lack of medigel cancelling is less of an issue on infiltrators. It just means you don't really have the option to stagger your cloak cycles for higher efficiency in clearing certain target patterns, which is occasionally frustrating but not nearly as bad as it is for, say, a Batarian Soldier (you basically need to be out of grenades to cancel. Ew).A Wild Snorlax wrote...

Funny you ask about rate of fire: In my experience after analysing recordings frame by frame, rate of fire decreases reload times. I'll have to do a detailed analysis and post it as a video, but for now you'll have to take my word for it. After playing tons with the claymore on different classes, there's a tangible difference in reload times between GI and say a Kroguard or a Turian Sentinel. GI reloads a little bit faster with Hunter mode & rate of fire spec. Maybe not enough to make a whole lot of difference, but it helps in situations you mess up the reloads.

PC GethInf videos are dime a dozen. Totally none applicable to console play. Still grts on the 2nd fastest pc GI guide with timed run topic on forums this week.
Why do you feel it isn't applicable to console play? The lack of medigel cancelling, while still frustrating, is a lot less meaningful for Infiltrators (just making them even more securely stationed in the top tier on consoles), since you generally want to be constantly going through cloak cycles anyways and thus can use Y / Triangle to cancel.

I didn't gun for fastest solo on PC, otherwise I could've done it in 25 min on a different map =) Reactor is much different than Glacier so I doubt the other GI build would achieve such speed due to the open corridors and sky spawns (cerberus actually spawn on the rails above you and shoot while they "rappell" down). So being without shields for a prolonged time is a suicide.

I think Geth Hunter vision should last 1-2 minutes and then have a cooldown. This perma-on wall-hack is ridiculous.

Why in the hell would you wish that? Down on the d-pad for reload cancels? That couldn't be more inconvenient if you had to hit it on a different controller.
You realize you can reload cancel with powers even if they're on cooldown or the sprint button, right?

You realize your powers aren't always on cooldown and one might not always want to use them right then, right?
Personally, I think reload cancelling should be a feature, not a bug, and should be implemented properly. Reload cancelling exists as such in a great deal of games because it is a good gameplay feature. You should be able to cancel with the reload button instead of hitting down on the D-pad.

You do realize that canceling with powers is nowhere near as fast as what he is doing in this video right, and that you can't do it rapidly several times in a row like he does? And that the sprint button pulls you into cover 50% of the time when you try to do it?
Obviously i know basic game mechanics, don't try to teach me how to play.
