Am i the only that think that the arishok and meredith have family connections?

They are both insane, overpride people who take pleasure in killing, espacially innocents.

Personly, from the 3 antagonists of the game, they both deserve to die. the third, orsino( which i highly doubt call him an antagonist), does not deserve it.

Yeah, I think you're alone on that front. Considering they're members of different species from opposite ends of the continent …

Well keep in mind Orsino was helping that sociopathic blood mage, so he's not a great guy either ^^

Orsino was the only one of those 3 that came across as insane to me. He helped a blood mage murder women to make the Bride of Frankenstein and used that lunatic's research to turn himself into a monster made of corpses.
The Arishok toiled in hardship for years, just trying to get back an artifact to return home. He only snapped after his people had been treated as prisoners and began leaving the Qun to get out of Kirkwall.
Flemeth likely isn't human or even mortal, so her sanity and morality is relative.

There actually secret lovers.and devoties to nocturnal.i know its a huge shock, took me time to come to terms with such insanity.but when your already on the fore fronts of reality it ends up being easy...

but oh yeah before i veer off .those two are the perfect characters for the vers.you love to hate them for quite a few different reasons.

Arishok: Not insane just has different believes. I actually got a high respect for him during the game. Not agreeing with what he did, but he does gain respect.

Orsino: Not insane, but very unstable and considering he is living in the same building as Meredith, who can blame him? As for the helping quentin part, we don't know that Orsino knew he was the killer. Quentin might as well have been a graverobber and though creepy, not quite the same catagory. I was truly dissapointed that Orsino goes nuts nomatter what. I liked him.

Meredith:
pre-idol: Not insane, just very damage/depressed and needs help. Actually I feel very sorry for her, almost want to hug her and make everything better.

pro-idol: Complete over the top INSANE! On her way to become an impressive glowing dictator. Honestly if not beeing killed by Hawke I imagine a scenario where she accuses the Divine herself of beeing corrupted by bloodmagic.

She likely would have destroyed the city first, on some flimsy pretense of it being too far gone to be saved. And she could have done it, too. You know those big statues outside the city? Imagine those stomping through Lowtown.
