I guess PS3 doesn't care about the game parameters. See two posts up, dude. There can't be 3 at once. The game doesn't allow it. Unless the game files have been tampered with.


The only people arguing with you are on a PS3 and 360.  Maybe there's a reason?


it doesn't make sense for a game company to make the console platforms harder.
either someone figured out to how to mod on those consoles, or the posters claiming they saw more than 2 are confused.
as mentioned earlier, banshees can respawn instantly after one is killed.
that's the most probable cause.

 I have a theory that we will never fail one of these community challenges.  No matter how likely it is we succeed.  Since they won't publish numbers as we go, we really have no way of being sure if we end up killint 1M or 20M banshees this weekend.

I won't!  I don't care anymore. The game is too repetitive & boring. And I'm just gonna end up with a Crusader IV anyway. I HATE SHOTGUNS! 

I'd do my part if I knew I could unlock the Talon or Javelin. But they can keep their stupid Crusader.


Which isn't, by any means, except when it comes to mods available, a shotgun. It is a scopeless sniper. But you would probably had known it if you had tried it. And in any case, you got an extra chance with the glitch.

Umm this dude who has a boner for the coalescent file (whatever that is) haha seeing as how he specifically keeps mentioning "modded" games if some 2 bit hack can mod a game to have more than 2 banshees on the field, couldnt bioware do the same? just because u found this info on the disc(i assume) doesnt mean they couldnt have an updated file somewhere on the hdd that overrides it? i dont really have a clue tbh but seeing as how they keep making weapons stronger with each mini update they do, why wouldnt they change spawn paramaters? just a thought.

No, because the Coalesced.bin the games uses is that of the host. So NO, bioware CAN'T mod it without changing it, because WE would notice as the game is entirely client-side. Just accept you are not right. We all know there seem to be a hell of a lot of banshees on-screen, but they just respawn fast as hell.

yeah ok,i never claimed to be right, just that it might have been a option, i dont know dick about the files, but what i do know is at times on gold for whatever reason it does at least "seem" like there are more than 2 banshees on the field especially during the computer hack, credit rounds, it most likely is like u said but sometimes it does seem like they actually spawn b4 the previous 2 were dead. which  lag would account for im sure.  and most people dont account that the banshee is technically dead  as soon as her health/armor well armor/barrier bar dissapears,  she isnt "alive" when shhes on her knees  letting out her   final scream haha.

Yep, I have had 4 screaming charred remnants of banshees at the same time due to being triggerhappy on missiles on some wave 10 upload objectives.

Like some of the people still playing MP, I will end up looking for a Rnd/Reaper/Gold lobby, until I end up with three partial extractions in a row. Then I'll end up napping through FBWGG. If someone wants to leech, they may as well wait in the LZ.

I know, I am just too tired today (exams and stuff) and I felt like answering to the first one claiming they wouldn't help because this and that. Don't worry, I have been around forums too long not to be dragged down to their level.

How does publishing the numbers make a difference? You're questioning their honesty, so they could just as easily publish forged numbers. It litterally makes no difference.

their games companies out to make cash and keep people addicted just long enough for their next big game(s) to get released, their not likely to upset their current customers by saying "ah well sorry lads but you all failed, better luck next time", their obviously going to press a button and just say "n1 you all did it, here have a pack of lvl1 consumables and some server downtime"
