I love the multiplayer I do alot and I have a lot of love for resurgence since I'm doing well with the asari justicar and using her biotic sphere to provide extra defense to my squad


Now we all know that at best most likely the online servers will probably only be on for a year or 2 at most so what I was wondering is before they close the online or the multiplayer perhaps add hoard mode as a single player alternative mode so we can still play as any race with the specific classes but with ai squadmates on all the maps we have for multiplayer and probably the upcoming multiplayer dlc so we can still enjoy hoard mode as a single player alternative and still be able to play as our favorite races with ai squadmates on the multiplayer maps for singleplayer hoard mode

Cause even 4 or 5 years from now still playing as a asari justicar or a krogan vanguard would still be cool stuff ^^

I was thinking about it a few days ago and came to the same conclusion:
they should add it as a SP mode sometime before they close the servers. Maybe even in the form of a DLC like the challenges of Pinnacle Station for the first ME.

I think if there is really plenty of players all time they would probably release a spin off game from mass effect (how they continue the war etc) like all the FPS already existing.

yeah I agree because it is a fun options to play as all the races and stuff on all these maps it would suck only for it to be a temporary experience

In the thread title, 'hoard' should actually be 'horde'. Also, perhaps they'll add bots later.

Not sure if it is a good idea, talking to yourself that is, could be seen as spam and get your thread locked. But, in terms of your aforementioned question. I would love to see that happen, games have been slowly losing their single player aspect over time. All the old games of mine have full AI support and full on horde mode, or even full map creators, even the Xbox ones. But these days they dont...

Come on guys... I was refreshing the page just to see how far he would go...

But I don't see that coming, EA don't cut its servers that much. I mean... BF2142 DEMO was up until last year. And its not like they are top of the line machinery right?

Ahh, the good old days of counter strike, cold war crisis, and the lot. You could play any game mode with bots, even just plop down into an open world, spawn a tank, and about a thousand enemies and go to town. I miss those days. Nothing like fighting 7 Brutal Yuri factions on those huge randomly created maps with my wall of grand cannons.

Same reason I loved black ops and killzone 3 was because of bots on the multiplayer maps you could play in single player or combat theater that was in black ops and still being able to play as all your favorite races with ai squadmates would still be kinda cool to have as another option for singleplayer other then the main campaign

From what I read it sounds like we will be able to play as some of the reaper forces if the phoenixs are twisted ardat yakshi or is it cerberus defectors hard to tell from the wording of it
