Turn off "Promotions Add to War Assests" ???

We should be able to alter the amount of War Assets we get from promoting. However high it is now should be the maximum you can get, but it's way too high. It's just ruining single player since pretty soon my special little squad is going to be worth more than any other War Assest in the game.
I'd personally like to be able to adjust it so I could get like 10 War Assets for every promotion, or maybe just 5 (or ZERO). Once I get enough, I can just make it zero so playing multiplayer no longer contributes to my Special Ops strength, since you know I like to keep things somewhat realistic...
That way the single player game isn't completely pointless.

I found the whole war asset mechanic fairly flawed, though.

There. Having eleventy billion war assets from MP makes sense now.

Xbox user. And that's fine (if it works for Xbox) but this would really be a good feature to add since eventually it will just break the single player game.
It should work for the xbox as I use gib editor, no need to edit the Galaxy At War Assets yet.
It should work for whatever number you want it to be but I never used it yet so I can't say for 100%.
If you do use gib editor make sure you make multiple copies of the saves on your computer so they don't get deleted/corrupted somehow.

I used the Gibbed editor in ME2, so I'm a little familiar with the process. Haven't done it for ME3 yet though.
Nonetheless, it's amazing how stupid this is. I'm just N7 327 and have 600 War Assets from this. I've seen people who are over N7 4000. They can basically start a new playthrough and "technically" win the war without the Crucible (EMS-wise)
WAY TO GO BIOWARE.

Haven't promoted a ton so far, but I have some 600+ War Assets already from the N7 Special Ops you get from promoting in Multiplayer.

No matter how many assets you get from Multiplayer it not going to be enough. If you have finished the game you know this. What they should do is allow you to get enough assets so it actually has a real positive effect.

If you disconnect from Xbox Live, your promoted characters won't turn up as War Assets. That worked for me.
