Hence the importance of destroy, because we all know the Reapers are still reapin', if'n the Blue or Geen choices are Image IPB implemented.

We know for a fact that the opposite is true.

People who have become indoctrinated - Billions

People who have successfully controlled the reaper - 0

Probablity bro.

Aaaaayup.

All 3 choices are right. All 3 have pluses and minuses.

That's what we're given and until the game says differently, that's what I'm going with. Just because I don't like asari reproducing parthogentically by randomizing DNA doesn't mean I'm rejecting it and saying that the 'father's' code must be involved as more than a randomization aspect, with no real DNA from the father making it into the daughter. I may dislike it. I may think it's TRULY strange, biologically. But it's what we've got.

And Shepard can end the Reaper threat by controlling Reapers or doing synthesis.

Again, in the Geth consensus, Legion tells you that familiar things are represented through memories, the Quarians didn't need masks when the Geth rebelled, but they are still shown with masks because that's the only way you've seen them.

The conduit run and the "1M1" asset from ME1, the Collector ship and the Shadow Broker ship from ME2, TIM's control room, all make an appearance in that wacky Citadel.

Or it may be the game developers trying to bring a beloved series full circle. Where's the collector ship, the shadow broker ship, and the control room?

PFFFT! WHAT? Are you serious?

Anderson/Shepard even say it looks like the Collector ship. The moving metallic panels with lightning, which were supposed to be unique to the shadow broker ship because it stayed ina giant space storm. The control room looks like TIM's room, complete with orange lighting.

Also, notice how the citadel still has cars and hustle and bustle going on? It's because he's never seen it any other way.

You may be incredulous, but Hadeedak's post is in fact a perfectly acceptable interpretation for what we''re seeing.

Why thank you, I'm all about literary interpretation.

Then why did you seem so shocked when Hadeedak tried to support an opinion that differed from your own?

My canon is what I see Shepard doing with my own eyes, of course Shep will end the reaper threat, we just have to expand the legend with DLC.

In 'my' eyes, Shepard ended the reapers as a threat by rewriting their code. It did kill her, though.

Yeah, it's about personal spin on it and which Shepard you're rolling and that Shepard's morals. Buuuuut I still don't think any of them are wrong!

Game also showed me TIM and Anderson activating the crucible.

Did TIM and Anderson also become legends by ending the Reaper threats? I wouldn't want to steal their credit! They did after all beat us to it.

You see a vision of the two dead guys doing it before you do it, but they didn't really, then the game literally spells out for you that you ended the Reaper threat.

That's fine and all, but I'm not sure how that answers my question.

Because this thread is geared to people who initially believed the end was a test, I was surprised that people go into a thread that doesn't really relate to them.

It showed TIM and Anderson doing it in dream sequence sepia tone. Unless you thought Anderson was hanging out watching your Shepard do synthesis/control/destroy in full alliance uniform despite being dead.

And my point was pretty much that the 'test', as presented in game, is impossible to fail except if you refuse to play.

It is very clear from the fact that both people have just died onscreen that this did not actually happen.

Not sure how I managed to confuse "random" and "stupid".

So we can rule out what we see if it's nonsensical? Ok then, indoctrination theory it is.

He doesn't, obviously. It's for the benifit of the player.

At this point, I'm fairly sure you are acting dense on purpose, and I would like to ask you to stop. It is adding nothing to the discussion.

Oh? So how does Shepard know that shooting a tube activates the Crucible? I certainly wouldn't expect that. Would you? How does Shepard know that grabbing the shocky rods activates the Crucible? I certainly wouldn't do that unless I had a good reason to suspect it'd do something.

And kindly please stop making these accusations. I'm asking a few questions. Am I not allowed to do that?

It's a third person game, everything you see is from the perpective of the player.

....As a flashback/dream/daydream to make the 3 choices clearer? Why isn't there one for Synthesis if it's indoctrination?

Clearly as something that's not real, because the game carefully presents it that way. It's not like the Mass Effect series is noted for subtle plotlines or mind @*#@&s. Which is the other reason I don't like IT. If it was presented the way it is in game, 3 really doesn't fit with the 2 prior conclusions.
