Fade to black
Wake up in bed w/LI after nightmare
Comforted by LI
I have a good imagination, I can figure out what happened during "fade to black" It's the other stuff that's important to the romance.

I wanna go into detail on the traynor sex scene
You walk in the shower to see her using it and you start talking sexy.
Shepard: Well I was wondering where I left my panties.
Traynor: I suppose you want them back, just know I will put up a fight.
Shepard: I bet you will
Traynor: Though it is getting pretty moist
Shepard: They might just slide off if you don't be careful
Traynor: Maybe you should reassert them
This plays out into the love making.
Traynor has shepard leaning into the corner of the shower with her right hand holding traynor head and the left hand holding onto a railing while Traynor is on her knee's pleasuring shepard, Once traynor is finished she rises and starts kissing Shepard.
Shepard returns the flavor, now the two of them are on the floor and shepard goes down on Traynor, Traynor moans passionately as Traynor spreads her had through shepard's hair.
Shepard then hovers over Trayor and kisses her while shepard's left hand is leaning on the floor and the right hand is in Traynor's Vagina.
Then this plays out on the bed with the both of them all hot and sweaty in the silk sheets, kissing and fingering.
Thank you, God, somebody got the point of the thread. Thank you!
Oh, I have one question, is Traynor a temporary love interest, or a permanent one?

I'd also move the "sex scene" to then right before London mission (not TIMs base).

Yes, more scenes like that would make the LI romance seem more like love than "just sex".

Again, thank you very much for getting the point of the thread. I appreicate that. You're right, I guess you have to have an imagination to properly respond to this thread. I like the style of having a nightmare after the sex scene and being comforted by the LI after the nightmare.

I don't care because I have a hot wife. The romance dialog throughout ME3 was improved from Me2 and Me1, and that's the only thing that really matters. If you care about sex so much, get a real life and stop worrying about a videogame love scene.
Excuse me, I'm sure everyone in this board has a real life and women/men who they have tons of hot, sweaty sex with naturally, there's no reason to put everyone down, that is unless you are projecting your inner problems. It was a simple question that did not require hostility and contempt. Nobody cares that you have a "hot" wife or about your love life with said "hot" wife. Remember, "hot" is subjective; in the early 1990's Tom Arnold thought Roseanne was "hot".

I am not a donkey, I am a human being. Jackasses can't type or play video games because they have hooves. I'm not trying to come off as hostile, but your OP came off as petty to me. I felt that the ME3 romances were more well thought out than in ME1 and ME2, and that's all that really matters. You don't need a sex scene to show passion.

Actually sex scenes in films are even worse.
People wear pads over their genitals at least in the United States.
It's a weird experience seeing that on set.
With major actors.
more details plz. I've heard of the kawk sock, but what other things are used to be "decent".

Okay so this thread has turned into something that I didn't originally mean it to be, so I need Stan to lock it down.
But, that is your choice... lock away then.
It's a bummer, but this is not the way I originally intended the thread to go. We get immature jokes of "my wife is so hot!", and childish interactions such as that. I wanted a conversation aimed more toward my original post and thought: "If you were in charge of the writing and preperation of the ME3 sex scene, how would you craft it?" It's a simple question that requires just a simple paragraph.
I see your point. My apologies for my misguided contributions. I will be on my way now. Good luck with your thread...

I would leave it to player choice, I would not mine having two sex scenes with two different characters in the same playthrough.
I just wanna add this is not full on, you should not see the vaginas.
Just the movement and boobs.

Getting back on topic, I wouldn't mind ME1-style scenes. I think that's showing enough and is consistent with the overall tone of the series.
Okay. So you don't have a life nor a woman/man that you can make love with? I just didn't like the way that he made his point. It was ridiculous. If you don't, there's no worry/problem there, man.

Here's a question for every ME3 customer: If you were in charge of writing and preparing the sex scene in ME3, what would you have done?
I would have had every scenario play out like it does with Tali or Garrus.....a fade to black.
Sorry fanboys, but I agree with Ken Levine on this. Sex in videogames is just inherently silly and imature at least at this generation in videogames because as tempting as it may be to think that your sex scene can be as intimate and cathartic as a movie sex scene....when you stop to think about it the uncanny valley sets in and you realize you're basically watching two dolls go at it.
Put another way: your sex scene is less like the one from Black Swan, and more like the one from Team America.

The one scene we have isn't bad, it just feels like the relationship isn't very deep. My LI was Kaidan, after he got hurt and we talked he eventually came aboard the Normandy. Hardly any mention of our relationship until a little chat on the Citadel then nothing again until the raid on TIM's base.
I'd like more implied time together. A little flirty banter with LI in my cabin then fade-to-black for the night. Nothing needs to be seen. Also, wake up next to LI after those nightmare scenes.

Look, you know the rules.
You can commit horrible acts of violence; you can graphically rip someones lower intestines out while their children watch; you can eviscerate, decapitate, lacerate and exenterate .. you can butcher in the most hideous and inhuman manner, inflicting incomprehensible pain and suffering on the pixellated minions that are yours to maliciously abuse.
BUT YOU CANNOT SEE BOOBS.
God of War III disagrees.
There are three ways to handle sex 'well' in video games (which aren't intended to be porn):
1) Comically over-the-top (e.g. God of War III, Witcher 2, Dragon Age: Origins)
Although unsuited to 'romantic culmination scenes', this method deliberately goes straight to humour to carry the scene. God of War III favors frantic button mashing while the camera focuses on observers, DA:O goes for rediculous dry-humping in underwear, and the Witcher 2 just gets silly.
2) Tasteful but truthful (e.g. Mass Effect 1)
This is the method usually used in film - careful selection of camera shots to avoid cries of outrage of nipples-on-camera (/facepalm) to imply what is happening without explicitly showing it.
3) Off-Camera (e.g. Most other games)
Alternatively, just fade to black and don't spend the resources on the scene.
Mass Effect 1 went for Tasteful but truthful, and did it reasonably well.
Mass Effect 2 went for off-camera, with cutscenes leading towards the sex scene, but not into it.
Mass Effect 3 tried to blend all three, and the result was not very good: For example, the Shower Scene
- The scene was too serious to really fall into comedy
- The scene was too gratuitous to be tasteful or off-camera
- The presence of a fully dressed Shepard and showering-in-my-underwear Traynor was not truthful.
The result was... a mess. By sticking to one method, the scene would have worked better:
1) As Comedy: Traynor in shower shots restricted to shoulder & head or back-shot (in accordance with Bioware's boob phobia), shot of shepards clothes landing on the floor, and her bare calf as she steps into the shower. Shot of the two embracing (again, back-torso of Shep with Traynor obscured by Shepard), with corny dialogue ("Relax Traynor, I'm just looking to open some corridoors of communication" etc). Shot of the legs as they fall onto the bed. Over the top VA.
2) Tasteful but truthful: Back-torso shots for Traynor and Shepard. Shot of her stepping in, with all skin on camera being... skin (not clothed - it's just silly). Careful arrangement to obscure boob of the two embracing. Minimal-if-any-dialogue. Silouette of the two embraced in the shower. Cut to the two spooning in bed (naked, but with sheets and arms arranged to conceal breasts and groin.
3) Off Camera: Shoot entire scene through the misted glass. Traynor in shower dialogue. Silouette of Shepard getting in shower with her and the two embracing. Cut to the pair having partially dressed and in bed talking (the ship is chilly?)
And honestly: Both 2 & 3 are cheaper to produce, as there is a LOT less custom animation involved.

To be honest, if I knew I was maybe going to die in the next battle. I would go without a loaded gun.
On topic: at least show that they have at least taken their underwear off to have done the dirty deed. Like have them under the blanket (so you don't have to keep them in their underwear) or the scene from austin powers where careful camera angles and prop placement hide everything.
