 Here's the thing.

A friend bought me a physical copy, and gave me the code over email so I could get it on Origin. I did so, and now have the physical copy with me. I share this because it might be part of the problem, I don't know. Is that a thing, downloading a version with a physical's code? 


My problem is-I cannot use origin in game. I can use it just fine out of game-I can launch it using origin. I have friends on Origin. But I can't use Origin in my game. 

I can't bring up the PM system, I can't invite friends, I can't join friends. If I want to do anything involving origin, I have to alt tab out of the game, often making it crash, and do it the hard way. 

I have no idea why this is or what the reason would be. I should just be able to press Shift f1, but it doesn't work.

Any help?
