I don't even bother with the rank 6 evolution of Singularity, as ideally you should be sending it out to an unprotected enemy or two and then immediately detonating with Warp to kill them and damage protected enemies in the vicinity. I can't think of any situation in which you would need to have a Singy up for 10 seconds (expansion evolution), let alone until it expires on its own (explosion evolution).[/quote]
Step 1: Set a Singularity in a key zone.
Step 2: watch as every cannibal/husk/assault trooper starts flying as soon as he comes near it.
Singularity is really a good power if used correctly and with the proper team. And I don't see the duration increase as a complete nerf.

Not bad. Still don't get why you guys think certain terribad weapons don't need major attention though. Right now we still have a lot of weapons that no one with any sense will ever use, Viper, Incisor, Locust, Scimitar, and Eagle coming immediately to mind.
Viper: a great weapon for non-infiltrator snipers or people with crappier aim. With AP and DPS mods, the weapon performs well.
Incisor: for the last time, tap DOWN on your joystick/mouse just as you fire and you can have three perfect headshots. Great weapon.
Locust: If you have both the extended clip and heatsink, you have 11 seconds of low-recoil/moderate damage fire.
Scimitar: perfect shotgun for Vanguards and Melee classes because of its high rate of fire and broad hitbox.
Don't have an Eagle but some people swear by it.
Viper: does considerably less damage than a Carnifex of equal level while weighing more and having a slower RoF.
Incisor: easier said than done, especially if you aren't using a Turian, and even if you do manage it, it's still inferior to most other sniper rifles in pretty much every meaningful way.
Locust: If by "moderate damage" you mean "laughable damage", sure.
Scimitar: roughly the same DPS and RoF as a Carnifex of equal level while being heavier and having an absurdly inaccurate spread of eight pellets (which each get reduced by armor seperately).
Eagle: anyone who swears by a gun that does less than 300 DPS has brain damage.

Pretty much.

Maybe it's hard coded so it can only be changed with real patch not the tweaking of a simple INI file.

My opinion on the AR buff......
I AM INVINCIBLE WITH UNLIMITED AMMO REVENANT o0
If this allows continuous firing on the Revenant, I don't think I'd want to use anything else

all I did want to see was dmg raise on the eagle to predator dmg and dim down the kick a tad or increase the accuracy rating more that's all

Ballistic Blade Power
- Fixed evolution 2 to increase the cone angle to 110 degrees instead of 360 degrees
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
So has anyone tried this out then? Is cone still worth taking at all or no?

At first, no one took cone because a 20 degree increase seemed pretty lame.
Now, they'll be right.

It really does seem like they are going to have to buff that evolution now, 90 degrees to 110 degrees really doesn't feel like much.

I'm not sure how exactly, since it was seemingly correctly listed as base angle 90, cone bonus 20, unless they were supposed to be decimals instead of degrees or something. It's always been right in Default_DLC_CON_MP1.bin or whatever the filename is, though.Lynx7725 wrote...
... Wait. Ballistic Blades cone angle is a parameter modifiable quickly?
Edit: Since nobody seems to realize we've had an sfar unpacker from Gibbed for ages now, and even a packer/re-packer as of a couple weeks ago, here is a nice friendly link to save the trouble of unpacking it yourselves and hopefully reduce my message inbox activity
It's both surprising and nice to see people actually acknowledging that it was broken and in need of fixing, at least. I was expecting all sorts of complaints about Ballistic Blades being "nerfed" in this thread, but it's mostly lamentation not complaint, from what I've seen

Poor Cryo Blast. What has he done to you Bioware for you to neglect him like this?
Agreed. Using a Quarian Engineer in gold is so painful. Also the cloak rank 6 power evolution for Human Infiltrators is completely useless.

"Cerberus Centurion

- Reduced ideal max range from target from 40 meters to 35 meters"
What does that mean?
Any maybe give us an example of what one meter is in the game?
I would imagine that this determines the range that Centurions will engage you; ideal range is the point at which they probably operate 'the best' - they probably will try to get within 8 meters of you now in order to attack, and it seems that 35 meters is the absolute best range at which they will be able to 'spot' and attack you from far away with any regular frequency.
As for what is equal to one meter; you occupy, from shoulder to shoulder, about one meter. (See: this post. They say that four people standing side to side is the same as them being within ~5 meters of each other)

you know a pistol is OP when people are comparing sniper rifles and shotguns to it.

You raise a good point. But what about the initial damage?Nightmare Sabin wrote...
I'd still go with Cone if you use Exploding Blades. As the extra damage is cut short anyways.
